Ordered biryani that came after 30 mins which is fine as I was informed about it. Firstly I went to sit at the ground sitting but due to low potency of Air Conditioner I went to dine at the upper sitting. During the payment of bill the rate of biryani became ₹150 the original price is ₹110, if they are charging ₹40 extra then they must inform before and also increase the quantity of biryani. The amount given also the price paid was not justified, when I told the staff at the reception he told me still I need to pay they can exclude the GST i.e 2.5% × 2 ₹10. Was it ethical? Later when I informed this to the owner he merely smiled and ignored my concern, this attitude has made me to never come here again I was a regular customer of this restaurant when it just started on 2014 the owner sitting at the desk on that time was very humble and kind, also keen on assistance a very unfortunate incident happened by his demise and after that the management became poor. I just went to try biryani there as they re introduced this after a long time but gone through this pathetic experience. Now coming to dishes, they serve a lot of kebabs like Roast, Afghani, Reshmi, tikka, barra etc. I have tasted afghani as well as their famous roast. I would say the taste if roast chicken is a bit sour due to the usage of hung curd which they market as cream. Also the amount of butter used is on the lower side. Still I love it because they were the first to bring this dush to Kolkata and are very welcoming. The service is fast and the price which they are charging is totally justified.
