Tasty Corner, a Bengali sweet shop located in Anil Maitra Road, Kolkata, undoubtedly deserves a glowing 5-star review. This delightful sweet shop offers a wide range of mouthwatering Bengali sweets and snacks that are sure to leave you craving for more.

One of the standout treats at Tasty Corner is the Amsatta Sandesh, a delectable sweet made with the perfect balance of flavors, combining the sweetness of Mango Leather with the creaminess of chhena (cottage cheese). The Jol Bhore Sandesh, another favorite, is a must-try for its unique texture and refreshing taste.

Pista Shinduk is a delightful sweet treat that showcases the richness of pistachios. The combination of pistachios and the smooth texture of milk-based sweets creates a truly indulgent experience. Fulkopir Samosa, a savory snack, is a popular choice among visitors. Its crispy outer shell and flavorful filling make it a delightful accompaniment to a cup of tea.

Speaking of tea, Tasty Corner's tea deserves a special mention. Whether you prefer a strong and aromatic cup of chai or a soothing herbal infusion, Tasty Corner serves up a steaming cup of perfection that perfectly complements their delectable sweets.

No visit to Tasty Corner would be complete without trying their Mishti Doi, a traditional Bengali sweet yogurt that strikes the perfect balance between sweet and tangy. The smooth, creamy texture and the hint of caramelized sugar make it an absolute delight for the taste buds.

Lastly, the Chanar Jilipi at Tasty Corner is a delightful twist on the classic jalebi. Made with fresh cottage cheese (chhena), these golden and syrupy sweets are a perfect way to end a sweet journey at Tasty Corner.

In summary, Tasty Corner is a treasure trove of delectable Bengali sweets and snacks. With their Amsatta Sandesh, Jol Bhore Sandesh, Pista Shinduk, Fulkopir Samosa, Tea, Mishti Doi, and Chanar Jilipi, they offer an extensive range of flavors and textures that are sure to please any sweet tooth. If you find yourself in Anil Maitra Road, Kolkata, make sure to visit Tasty Corner and experience the true essence of Bengali sweets...

Nestled near South Point Junior School, the sweet haven of "Tasty Corner" beckons with a symphony of flavors that dance on the taste buds. From the first bite to the last, this hidden gem has woven a tapestry of gastronomic delights that left me utterly enchanted.

The Hing Kachori, an ode to spices, greeted my senses with a delightful crunch and a burst of aromatic goodness. Paired with the flavorful Kachori Sabzi and the divine Sweet Chutney, this trio formed a culinary trinity that transcended ordinary street fare.

Diving into the world of snacks, the Alu Paratha emerged as the undisputed hero. Each bite revealed layers of perfection, a crispy exterior yielding to a fluffy, potato-filled interior. And let's not forget the Paneer Paratha – a true masterpiece. The stuffing was a tantalizing blend of spices and paneer, elevating it to a gastronomic symphony.

For those seeking a sweet denouement, the Jalebi was a sugary marvel, the perfect balance of crispiness and syrupy sweetness. Wash it down with the creamy Lassi, and you've embarked on a flavor journey that lingers long after the last sip.

Special mention goes to the Club Kachori, a unique twist on tradition, and a testament to Tasty Corner's culinary innovation. The menu here reads like a love letter to food enthusiasts, and each dish is a testament to the chef's dedication to crafting perfection.

In the heart of culinary bliss, "Tasty Corner" near South Point Junior School is a sweet symphony for the senses, where every dish tells a story of passion, precision, and, most importantly, flavor that resonates...

Have been visiting Tasty Corner since I was in school, one thing that has not changed is the staff’s behaviour towards Bengalis who don’t look posh and snooty. The staff always have a frown on, and have an attitude and body language as if they are doing us some favour by re-heating kachoris and serving them with tasteless hing alu sabji.

I had stopped visiting Tasty Corner but given both my brother and I are ex-Pointers and were in the area, made a stop yesterday. Horrendous experience as always. The kachoris were way too hot and the thin paper plate could not defend my brother’s hands from it. He had placed the plate on the counter and tried to make a few holes in the kachori to let the hot air out, the server with moustache could not bear that and immediately snapped and asked him to take it in his hand.

The server without moustache reduced the taste of the lassi manifold with his reluctant attitude when we asked for a repeat order.

Overall I pray I never have to visit Tasty Corner even for an emergency water...

This place has become a breakfast favourite for me and my friends. The days we crave jalebi and samosas in the morning, we know exactly where to head. The Hing Kachori (poori served with aloo hing subzi) is awesome. The samosa, crushed and mashed, served with dahi and chutney is amazing. The dhokla served with chutney is great. The club kachori is delicate and goes well with the chutney/dahi it is served with. The best part for me is the Jalebi. Pair it with Samosa or Kachori and you have got a drool worthy combination. Request them to prepare the Jalebi fresh if you visit this place early in the morning. Nothing better than fresh jalebi, piping hot and dripping with chashni, straight out of the cauldron. *drool drops on the phone*😂 One star deducted for the ambience. It is literally at corner and there is no seating at all. Plus there might be traffic congestion right nearby, which kind of takes away the fun of eating such an awesome food. Highly recommended place.

One of my very fav place in south calcutta.. if i ignore a bit high price range.. food is too osm here.. nothing special but.. the main attraction of here is the .. 1. club kochuri 2. khasta kochuri 3. chhola r dal 4. special tea. 5. fulcopi r samosa i found that the kochuri item is all good with normal sabji worth 15 rs each.. but with special dal item, it costs about 25 rs each.. that worth money and value it.very much tasty.. My another best part of it is that the special tea that actually consists of special herbs and masala in it, making it much fragrant and tastier than any other tea options out there in city. It costs about 20 rs for each cup. they serve it hot and fresh after billing the food. all foods are coupon system here. must try in a rainy season.
