The food was decent. The atmosphere was very appealing. Yet I am leaving this review after facing certain issues regarding the service.
The cafe was packed when I reached, but I managed to get seated in those individual chairs. 3 out 4 high chairs were occupied, so I occupied the empty one and placed my order. The guy sitting next to be repeatedly asked me to move, since his friend was supposed to arrive in 10 mins, which was a weird request since the seat wasn't reserved and I reached their first. I politely declined, but the guy went ahead to call another waiter and forced me to move to another table in the dim corner amongst strangers. I clearly objected to this silly "request", but the waiter insisted the guy's demand. Didn't have time or energy to argue, so I unwillingly complied with the guy's demand. Unwillingly and hesitantly.
I was made uncomfortable and I felt violated after having to go through such unnecessary issue, and that too a preventible one. It made the entire experience pretty underwhelming.
Maybe it's a management issue, or simply one where one lacked common sense and the other was too entitled. Anyway, it was my first visit, and I hope no one else has to face such issues here. Read moreThe Coffee Shoe offers a pleasant setting for a date, conveniently located across from the primary section of St. Xavier School. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, providing a comfortable backdrop for conversations. While the service is generally attentive, there's room for improvement to enhance the overall experience further.

Overall, I would encourage others to visit The Coffee Shoe at least once. With a little fine-tuning, it has the potential to leave a lasting impression on...
Read moreNice place with a beautifully decorated interior and plenty of seating available on the ground floor. Parking space is also abundant, which makes it convenient to visit.
We tried Americano, Cappuccino, and Latte — all made from freshly brewed coffee beans. Both the cappuccino and latte came with nice latte art, and the portion sizes were generous. The chilli garlic toast was decent but lacked the chilli flavor, while the tomato bruschetta was tasty. They also served complementary biscuits, which was a nice touch.
One downside was that no drinking water was served, and I couldn’t confirm whether they had washroom facilities. The staff were polite and well-behaved, but the service was a bit slow.
Overall, it’s a good spot for coffee lovers, especially if you enjoy freshly brewed drinks in a...
