La Macario Cafe — Restaurant in Kolkata

We decided to go “La Macario” which is one of the best Vegetarian Cafes in Kolkata serving Italian & Continental Cuisine. Firstly, the café is built with a warm ambience along with some positive vibes. The detailing with the beautiful wooden-looking interior and ample space for the people to sit and enjoy their food is just exceptional. They have a different sitting space for hookah lovers too. Secondly, the food is been the best part I love about this place. The food which they served was extraordinarily great in quality and taste. They have a great menu listed, and you had to try it all (Not all at once, but yes have to try it all). Items we tried were: Hookah: Hookah along with the sweet songs and warm ambience, it was a great experience. Cheese Fondue platter: For the Cheese lovers! This Platter is perfect for you. The sauce is just amazing. Mezze Platter: Mezze Platter is an easy, fun, and family-friendly choice. Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni: juicy spinach and ricotta filling inside cannelloni pasta tubes, topped with tomato basil sauce and some cheese inside it. Buffalo Pizza: A thin crust chef’s Special pizza with the touch of mozzarella cheese, oven-dried tomatoes, olives and roasted garlic, it is just wow! Do try it once. So we went to the cafe on 07/01/25 at around 7pm, firstly they are completely understaffed , for a minimum of 20 tables there was just 2 staff, and when asked why cant we sit on the other side , we where told u can sit there but service will be very slow as we dont have man power. When we walked in despite the low staff and busy tables, a group of unreserved 12pax was accpeted and seated on a table, my question is if your so low on staff? Why are u not hiring and secondly if your so low on staff why arr u being greedy and taking up more groups. A business is not meant to be setup and left on the fee employees left to deal...
