I took my mother here to celebrate her birthday. The place is cozy and the ambience is understated and perfect, not in your face. We ordered juice and potato wedges to start off. The juice was freshly made and the wedges were delightful. Next it was time for the main course. I ordered a lamb lasagna while mom had something similar but vegetarian. THIS was when we were truly blown away. The dishes were loaded with flavour, succulent and truly something else. We wrapped up with Chocolate Babka and brownies. The brownie was sent complimentary (A very sweet gesture on the part of the restaurant, for mummy's birthday). The chocolate babka was parcelled because well, we'd overestimated our appetites. Their chicken sandwich was excellent and I really enjoyed their iced mocha. That being said, their French toast special wasn't very good. I found the bread doughy and uneven and the creme cheese tasted a bit weird. It's the main line reason I dropped a star.
