Visited July 19, 2025 (Day 16 in India) during a walk through the vibrant Leh market guided by Angmo, who brought us here because her international guests love this spot.

It’s a cute coffee shop right in the heart of the market, with regular tables upstairs and a cozy sofa seating area downstairs. We chose the sofa—so comfortable and inviting.

Angmo ordered an iced americano, my husband got a cold coffee, our girls (age 5 and 7) shared a hot chocolate, and I enjoyed a masala chai. Each drink was delicious, rich in flavour, and felt freshly prepared.

The service was fast, efficient and kind. The staff served everything with warmth and attention, making us feel welcome immediately. Everything tasted so good—truly delicious. We especially appreciated how quick and smooth everything was, despite the café being busy with market visitors.

Overall, we absolutely loved it. Great drinks, delightful atmosphere, welcoming staff, and delicious food and drinks all around. A perfect market‑side stop—highly...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Leh Cafe, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The milk cake they serve is an absolute treat for the taste buds – it's rich, creamy, and simply melts in your mouth. But what truly sets Leh Cafe apart is the warm hospitality you receive.

Saira Aunty, the super host, makes you feel like you're visiting a friend's home. Her welcoming smile and genuine care for her customers create an inviting atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere. It's heartwarming to see the first cafe in Leh embracing its visitors with such warmth.

The cafe itself is a great place to relax and soak in the local vibes. Whether you're sipping on a hot cup of chai or indulging in their delectable milk cake, you'll find yourself in a cozy corner of Leh, surrounded by friendly faces and the serenity of the Himalayas.

Leh Cafe is not just a place for delicious treats; it's an embodiment of the spirit of Leh – warm, inviting, and...

Leh Café [visited several times in September] hidden in the heart of Leh. Located in an alley near the bustling Main Bazaar, bohemian appearance that invites you to escape the violence of travel and enjoy a moment of relaxation. The interior of Leh Café is simple yet charming, with handmade wooden furniture, traditional Ladakhi cushions, and colorful fabrics hanging on the walls. The café is often lit by soft lamps and candles, creating a homely atmosphere. The owners, locals from the region, have created an atmosphere that feels both welcoming and personal, putting you at ease right away. The café also features a small terrace. The menu offers a delicious mix of traditional Ladakhi dishes and international favorites. Leh Café offers a unique travel experience, where you can fully immerse yourself in the quiet, welcoming culture of Ladakh. It is a place to catch your breath, meet new people, and enjoy the simple pleasures of the...

Visited Leh Café today and had a lovely experience. We tried their apricot cheesecake, and it was absolutely delightful — fresh, creamy, and infused with a distinct apricot flavor that made it stand out. A true treat for the taste buds! We paired it with their masala tea, which was warm, perfectly spiced, and comforting — just what you’d want on a relaxed day out. The service was quick and efficient, and the staff was polite and attentive. They also have a tempting variety of pastries and pies on display, which we’re definitely coming back to try. The ambiance is decent and peaceful, making it a nice place to sit back and enjoy a quiet dessert break. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try some local flavors with a twist!
