The Rasoi — Restaurant in Ladakh

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rasoi in Leh Market, and it was a delightful experience. We ordered Daal, Naan, Tandoori Roti, and Dry Aalo Jeera. The food was exceptional, with a unique blend of spices that elevated the dishes without making them overly spicy or oily. The flavors were perfectly balanced, allowing us to enjoy the authentic taste without the heaviness of excess oil or butter.

The hospitality at Rasoi was commendable. The staff was attentive and ensured we had a pleasant dining experience. Located conveniently in the main market, it's easy to find and a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a meal while exploring Leh.

A highlight of our meal was the tea - honey ginger lemon. It was a refreshing and soothing way to end our dining experience, and I highly recommend trying it.

It's right across the road from mein Leh Market. I had paneer butter masala and butter naan. The gravy was a bit salty for my taste, and I give it an overall 4 stars, but that's just one opinion: I could tell from the others enjoying their food that the non-vegetarian items here are very popular, and I'm a vegetarian.
