Bistro 978 — Restaurant in Madurai

This is a newly opened small Bistro...the owner was very friendly and came over and talked to us about the Bistro and the menu options..since we were 2 people one veg and one non-veg and wanted to share a pizza, he went offered to make one half veg and the other half non-veg.They also offered us some Jenga blocks/ UNO cards to keep ourselves busy while waiting for the order

We had a fetttucine Arrabiata pasta- the sauce was very good and the pasta was well cooked .Next we had a roasted mushroom/roasted chicken pizza half/half..the pizza was thin crust and very cheesy with quality ingredients.

For dessert we opted for a cheesecake slice- loved it.especially liked that the crust was thicker than usual .

Sundar makes fresh pasta in an optimal way, no preservatives, no chemicals just pure fresh pasta in the form of spaghetti, ravioli, fettuccine and penne with different types of truly tasty toppings, even the pizza is exquisite, the base is crunchy and the pizzas are garnished with excellent quality products. The menu is rich and original, you can also find steaks, vegetarian food, soups, rice bowls, non-vegetarian food, homemade desserts by real pastry chefs, the location is very well-kept and the staff is kind and helpful, in short it can satisfy all palates. Absolutely not to be missed if you pass by Madurai ... and if I recommend it, being Italian and knowing about pasta ... try it...

We are Japanese people traveling to India. We are staying in India for about two weeks, so we wanted to eat something other than Indian food and found this restaurant. The restaurant was very clean with good atmosphere. The food was also very delicious.
