Hotel New Sri Sabareesh — Restaurant in Madurai

No words to explain how I enjoyed there. I visited madurai as a tour. At very first day we had a very bad experience in two restaurant. I felt really bad in madurai restaurant experience. On that day evening I found this restaurant while I am walking towards bus stand. At first glance the restaurant was clean and neat, well organised. But also I entered with half hearted mind. I ordered tiffin items there and in reasonable time the food reached my table. Suddenly I am satisfied with the appearance of food and I can't able to control my tongue. So I pinched off small bit and kept on my tongue and felt like wowww. Thank God atleast I found you on first day itself. The taste and aroma was so good. That mini tiffin fulfilled my whole day hungry and satisfied my heart on madurai restaurant experience. And at last coffee experience. I am a caffeholic i do whatever for perfect coffee. As same it reached on time and I took a sip and again wowww. While fulfilling hungry and mind, our wallet will drain out. Finally check reached my table, my hand went to lift the check and fear mixed exciting bgm running at background but suddenly happy bgm was playing around my mind because the amount was around 300. My mind, what? really! or am I on dream because at morning we ate 3 plain dosai and one egg dosai for rupees around 500. That not even fulfilled our tongue, hungry and mind but drained out money. We mumbled to praise them after enjoying there.

Server: In hungry mode I didn't note about waiters way of approaching, But later only i came to know the reality. I don't have heart to say what is exact thing but i will give you something. Some server didn't speak and listen well. But they are quite and soft people, responsive and did their job very well. Remaining server also very good. They interact with us very well and treated us in good manner. You will come to know the actual thing when observe deeply. Those people are so amazing and nice people. Thanks to the management. We just become like friends.

We stayed there for 4 days. For non-veg food alone we went somewhere other than that for breakfast lunch dinner and evening snacks we prefer this hotel. We try to break previous restaurant check experience but except lunch none of the time we payed more than 400. They offered water to calm our thirsty while we crossed that restaurant. They cared us not nice conversation and lot more. And on final day we bought lunch for traveling. Food is packed well and remained hot after one hour also. We preferred 2 parota and 2 vegetable Biryani. Parota was well cooked and the biriyani was marvelous. It was made so good in proper ratio with enrich spices. We never had good experience on vegetable Biryani from various restaurant.

Not a place to fine dine with family. I was staying at their Sabareesh Park facility yesterday and their staff recommend us to try their restaurant. I visited the restaurant with my parents, wife, and kids for dinner, but had to leave not only because it was over crowded but I could not find a supervisor or any hotel staff who could help me find a table. I politely enquired with the gentlemen who was sitting at the billing counter and he requested me to find it on my own. I did not want to do a disgusting act of standing in front of a table when someone is enjoying a family dinner, looking at their faces and make them feel uneasy. Moreover, I did not want to risk myself or my kids share a table with a stranger who is not wearing a mask(while eating obviously). Hence I had to leave and find another restaurant where the food was just okay. I would kindly suggest their management to consider the concept where in supervisors let their customers wait outside or in a lobby and call them as per the first come preference once a table...

FYI - 3-4 branches there for Sabareesh hotel in Madurai. People are giving reviews for different hotel.

I have ordered PAROTTA first. Quality was very poor and not cooked well. Half cooked.

I have requested to change it and ordered CHAPATHI again. I got shocked and really disappointed that CHAPATHI also not cooked well and HALF COOKED/PLAIN BATTER.. Very poor quality.

Don't never ever try CHAPATHI/PAROTTA in this hotel. Make sure, especially in peak hours ...
