Haldiram's — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Overrated restaurant as usual. I have visited Nagpur outlet as well. Didn’t like the taste there too. I had ordered Nawabi thali, Palak paneer combo, mix veg combo, chole bhature, raj kachori and softy ice cream. Most of them were tasteless except bhature, naan and dal makhni (from thali) which were good in taste. Sabzi of chole, Palak paneer and mix veg were as like the ones any beginner would cook. There is no point in visiting Haldiram and paying higher price for the same. Raj kachori was little ok but to sweet to eat. Softy ice cream was pathetic and should be renamed as per its taste. It was completely watery in taste. They serve half papad (!) in their most expensive thali which costs Rs. 299+GST. In my case, they missed to place it in my thali and I had to request them for it. Pickle was packed one from some third party - the one which we get in meals served by IRCTC. Roti was not good to and was difficult to eat being dry. Person at counter taking orders was not capable of understanding things even after repeating many times. Point to note here is I was alone while giving order. Overall, I didn’t like the taste. Ambience is ok and not very good. Everywhere you will see their products stuffed for sale as like their counters. Some days back I had purchased Mysore pak from them which was not good too - it was not having melt in mouth consistency - for which it is famous for.

Not recommended. Highly priced. Visit only if you don’t have any options or...

Right since the opening of this outlet at Spot18, my family has been a patron at haldirams for breakfast, lunch or even dinner. Watching a movie in the multiplex and dining at haldirams has been the formula for so many of our family events. My latest experience was for a brunch before catching a 3:00 p.m. flight. Apparently, you don't have many choices in Pimple Saudagar area if you want to finish meals before 12 noon... and I am glad that I could think of haldiram, who serves quality food, with various options throughout the day.

It was nice to see the new arrivals in the menu, and we tried the palak pathri bhel. It's pleasing both for eyes and the tongue and a must try for everyone!

Haldirams has got a brand name, and the spot 18 outlet lives up to that standard. Couple of things I would expect more: I am a big fan of the haldiram at Nagpur that gives a wholesome experience with wider variety of food. I am waiting for the Pune outlets to be at par with the Nagpur ones. The spot 18 complex has got parking options, nevertheless it will be convenient, especially for senior citizens, if dedicated parking is provided for the...

The worst place to order, my order amount was 775.85. Chole Bhature (extra bhatura), moong dal halwa, Dahi wada, Paneer Butter Masala with 2 Garlic nàan and 1 extra Butter naan. I received 3 plain Naan instead of Garlic nàan and Butter Naan. I call up the outlet and more than 5 people spoke to me just asking my order number and my issue. Finally, 1 guy says that you get plain nàan with Paneer Butter masala combo.I told him that I made a choice of the Bread I wanted as there was an option to do so. I also asked him what about the extra Butter naan. They tried to convince me that what they sent was the order. I lost my cool, Then the manager comes on the call and says come here and do whatever you want..look at the guts...I told him that non of the guys were listening, can you please look at my order..he figured they were wrong and tells me it will take 20mins to deliver the naans as per my order...20mins?..Please don't...
