Taste that touches your heart. By today's experience I would add another line because of the gentleman sitting at the counter.
" Loathe the experience due to his behaviour "
I would like to elaborate on the incident ..me and my wife thought about starting our day with misal pav.
As usual visited katakirrr after a long gap ...post lockdown ...we ordered for 2 plate of misal and requested for a cup of tea along with it on which the serving guy suggested to get the tea from yevley amrutulya.
We waited for the order and when the order arrived , I went and brought tea for my wife and cold drink for myself as these were unavailable @ katakirrr - pimple Saudagar.
We started our meal and in the mid of our meal ...this guy suddenly stood up at his counter and shouted at us saying outside food is not allowed.
When we asked him that since we are in mid of the meal and also the given items were not available at his restaurant so we bought it from outside rather would have take from there only if that's been available.
However, he was firm not allow us to complete our meal and we had leave the place inbetween our meals ....though we paid in full for the meal ordered rather our experience and Sunday been spoilt.
I again say that liked the taste therefore went even after such a long time though loathed the experience and behaviour of the person at the counter so now dropping this from my list forever.....
I am dropping the rating to one as for me taste is important though more than taste, experience to every visit takes the priority.
As spoilt taste can be resurrected though it's difficult to mend the experience as it touches deep into your heart.
Good day to...
Read moreThe mixture of spices used for the preparation of Misal is worth mentioning, while having the first bite itself anyone would come to know. As expected the place has rules of their own... If a Misal is shared RS 35 would be charged extra. Bringing a vessel or container is mandatory if parcel is to be taken. These rule boards are displayed prominently in Marathi as well as English. I had to wait for 10 minutes for a table for 2 at the Pimpale Saudagar, Pune location yesterday. Something which caught my attention was the online table booking system on a tablet. The crowd or customers were from all age groups and across the various economic categories. Something notable is the option to choose from 3 types of Rassa. Light, Medium and Spicy is what the choice is to be made. The price point of RS 80 per plate is not justified by the taste or the ambience. I personally think that it is overpriced a bit. RS 60 imo would have been a great price. The pav or the bread served with the Misal is so minimal in size that an average person can eat it in just 2 bites. Yes along with the Misal. Maximum 3 bites. The portion served per serving is less as compared to other Misal in Pune and Mumbai. Buttermilk is available, which goes well along with Misal Pav. Misal does not have usal; its just rassa andnfarsan with onion & spice. Customer service is inferior. Neither manager nor waiters have any interest in customer feedback/ interaction. Only Misal is available and other dish is served which is something not understandable. I think till date Sadhana Misal of Nashik is the best Misal I had. Second stands Bedekar...

In 12 Years of Long Journey in Pune, This Typical Exclusive Puneri style Outlet made me visit again and again . & Now its a Adda kind of for me .
Initially was rigid not to eat Pav as it contains Maida and also it is served without butter .
But it is something different
//Cozy Friendly Sitting - Prime Location in Pimple Saudagar - Cleanness - Ground Floor -Paytm options
Average Billing Less then 100 PP //
All above are secondary , Most important is Concept of Less spicy missal + Maatha (Tak- Chaach).. Both are just AWESOME taste . Specially when you get it early morning a 8 AM & Stomach is waiting for some fresh Exclusive (As a foodies ). Other morning fav is taste of Indore which is frequently visited in same area with Quality Maintained .
About Missal - Missal Gravy is super refreshing , without pav as well i finish whole missal. Concept of Gravy /Rassa in Mug is also perfect . As Quantity goes low you can top up the same with rassa . So 3-4 Rounds you can enjoy
and Yes Utensils style is also important , I personally dont prefer that single plate inducing small portions- Poor Feeling (Most of the local vendors shops does it i feel )
Maatha - Tak Chaach - One of the best in town , Simple and always refreshing with some lahsun ka takda (May be ) - Chalte firte this is my Substitute of tea which is harmful as well .
So overall Its a 3 Visits minimum per weak early morning at 8 and I am finding it worth .
Note : beware before ordering Medium or Hi spicy misal , if you are trying for the first time or Not from Pune . I would suggest start for Lower one on...
