Here is the latest update, with our visit on 25 July. This time we were a strong group of 14 people and decided to go for the Nizam thal. Well it didn't live up to our expectations. The only thing that we all agreed would get a 5 star is kunafa On our way out of Naryani dham we saw this dhabba styled restaurant.
Right on the main road, this place has parking place and an eye catching appeal which pulled us for a late lunch here. We started of with Chicken Lebanese. This dish gets a full star on taste. Six pieces in white gravy with bits of garlic and on the sweet side was great. Took a while for it to come, but was awesome. Our attended Mr. Alam suggested chicken handi. Of the bright side their was less oil and had about 8 to 9 small pieces of chicken, but had better ones elsewhere. They suggested chicken thal, however I was pretty sure we couldn't finish it, as our count wasn't good. Will surely try with a bigger group. We washed down our food with some fresh orange and sweet lime juice.
The place has few swings and play area for kids. The premises is made of bamboo, and the center Hall can accommodate (I think) about 30 guest or so. The area around is dotted with small tents one side and bamboo huts on the other. The setup is surely impressive.
On the negative side, the washroom was very dirty and stinky. There were boards mentioning no drinking and smoking, but the irony is, I noticed one of their staff enjoying a nice smoke. Don't blame him for have a few moments to himself. They don't accept credit card, so it is only cash or equivalent digital option like Debit card or G Pay (I believe).
All in all it was an...

Read moreWORST FOOD PLACE IN LONAVALA!!! I'm visiting Lonavala since 1991 and have visited almost every newly opened restaurant, But experience in this hotel was worst. .Worst seating (khatiya type) the staff is arrogant and takes order as if they're going to serve it for free, Attitude in the body language and tone like we owe them something 🙄 Ordered butter chicken & Roomali roti, He mentioned it will be a bit sweet with which we were ok, when served the butter chicken gravy was literally Sour Tomato Puree, it was tasting like ketchup, the chicken pieces in the gravy were so hard and uncooked. We complained about the gravy and told them to re-do it by adding some cream or masala to cut the sour, They got it done and it became literally inedible, we packed the food and later gave it to our stray dog, but he also refused to eat. Roomali roti sides were thick and didn't had the softness and stretch of roomali.
These people are just here to serve unhygienic and worthless food. Paid 1250₹ and got too much attitude from the staff.
Better to go to Rama Krishna in Lonavala for best standard food anytime of the year. This restaurant is a scam, they don't know to cook food but know how to trouble a customer.
0 star for you...
