Popular particularly among the Gujarati community, this eatery offers a remarkable fusion of traditional dishes, ensuring that every meal is a delightful experience.
Upon entering Achija, you’re welcomed by a bright and inviting ambiance, complete with tasteful lighting and comfortable air-conditioned seating. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between casual dining and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for couples, friends, and families alike.

One of the highlights of our visit was the soup selection. The Manchow soup, with its spicy kick and crispy noodles, was a standout, providing a hearty start to the meal. The Cream of Tomato soup was equally impressive; it offered a perfect blend of sweetness and creaminess, enhanced by crunchy croutons.
For the main course, we sampled the Jain butter Pav bhaji and Jain cheese pav bhaji. While different from the street-style versions, both dishes were rich, cheesy, and tangy—delivering a satisfying experience that kept us wanting more. The sada dosa was another classic that didn’t disappoint; crisp and served with flavorful chutney and sambar, it perfectly captured the essence of South Indian cuisine. The rava dosa, with its spiced chili flakes, added an exciting twist to the traditional dish.
During our visit, the atmosphere was alive with laughter and conversation, making it a joyous setting to enjoy a meal. It was evident that many diners were also savoring the delightful flavors, contributing to the restaurant’s vibrant energy.
I must say that, Achija is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to indulge in delicious vegetarian fare. Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Achija , a delightful vegetarian Indian restaurant, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I entered, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for a wonderful culinary journey.
The extensive menu offered an array of mouthwatering options, each highlighting the rich and diverse flavors of Indian cuisine. The knowledgeable and friendly staff were more than happy to assist in navigating through the menu, ensuring that every customer found their perfect dish.
To start, we indulged in the flavorful samosas, perfectly crisp and generously filled with a fragrant potato and pea mixture. The balance of spices was absolutely spot-on, leaving our taste buds craving for more. Following that, we savored the fragrant and creamy lentil soup, an absolute delight to the senses.
For the main course, we sampled a variety of dishes, each with its own unique blend of spices and ingredients. The paneer tikka masala was a standout - the paneer was incredibly tender, infused with a luscious tomato and cashew-based gravy. The vegetable biryani was also a winner, with fragrant long grain rice cooked to perfection, and an abundance of fresh vegetables that added a delightful crunch and burst of flavors.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the dessert. We couldn't resist indulging in the classic Indian dessert, gulab jamun. These golden-fried milk dumplings soaked in a delectable syrup were the perfect finale to a marvelous meal. It was pure bliss!
The attention to detail in presentation and the use of high-quality, fresh ingredients were evident in every dish. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us completely satisfied yet longing to return for more.

Read moreFood - Okay Sevice - Zero Entry to this restaurant was nice, there was this man standing in mid of the door, who greeted us. But then as soon as we sat, every few mins a waiter will come and see. We called one, to check if they have tawa roti. He went on and on.. and finally told no tawa roti. Then we asked how they cooked fry idli to which he marketed some Chinese idli and said fry idli was nothing but just frying idli in oil without anything. Not sure why they didn't ask their waiter before putting fried idli in the menu😂. Then we asked about mojito.. only that much that was it mix or it was separate. The waiter faced my husband all the time, i interrupted him once he said it is not mix.. and told him to bring green apple but he still went on until my husband told him we wanted green apple only. I felt a bit weird. Anyways we ordered aalo prantha, handi paneer, chapati and mojito. Another waiter came to serve. Then came the mojito, whole of the mint was stuck on straw, seems like they were grating mint with straw only 😄so we had to ask for another straw. Now this another waiter came and asked my husband could he clean our table. Only I was done, he was still eating. I told him to take my plate, he completely ignored it and asked my husband again could he clear my plate. I was so irritated by this time. Then came another waiter in 2 mins asking him if he needed anything else, while he was still eating and when he said not yet.. he directly ordered this other waiter bring bill quickly. And the bill arrived. My husband was so irritated with this behavior, we paid and moved out leaving that food in plate. So 0 or negative for service and here goes the rating. Food was okayish. Mojito wasn't nice, tandoori roti were hard, paneer prantha was nice.. ohh yes we ordered aloo prantha but we were served paneer prantha and since it was okay, we ate it. Handi Paneer was okay in taste, a bit spicy though. Food was served in less than 10 mins of ordering. If I had to rate food, I would have rated 3, but their service ate all the...
