Gelato Vinto — Local services in Mumbai

A wonderful place if you ever have cravings for flavored ice, or knockoff frozen desserts marked up 10 times in price.

The very first bite made me regret the purchase, making me wish I'd just gone to a corner store and bought a ₹10 ice cream cup instead, would've been the same experience at a much lower cost.

Now to give them the benefit of doubt, this could be some new revolutionary frozen dessert I've never heard of, but what it definitely is not, is gelato.

Gotta say, it does take guts to market yourself as gelato and sell something so undeniably inferior. The flavors aren't much to write home about either, at least at this outlet.

Actually let's come back to the cost. If I'm paying more than ₹150 for a single scoop of frozen dessert, it should not be this bad. It'd have been fine if it was just mediocre, but no. Just like some people go above and beyond in what they do, Gelato Vinto goes below and underground. Kudos to that.

(Gelato Italiano is a very good gelato store compared to this, both in prices and in taste.)

I'm sure just one person not buying the product does not bother them in the slightest, but I'm hoping this review will encourage at least one other person to save their money from being wasted on a subpar 'dessert', if it can even be...

Sometimes u have to get out of the TRIED AND TESTED zone and take a chance which paid of at Gelato Vinto.

Window shopping at kurla pheonix we came across this outlet. I am a huge fan of the bubble gum flavor and no sooner had we taste the same i became a fan of Gelato Vinto.

The blueberry yogurt was to die for and when we tasted the strawberry cheese cake we knew wat we were going to order.

The big question is y is this place still not popular?

A Gelato Vinto you are...

A: It's costly. For the price, you'll hardly get 3-4 spoons. Taste is good, but nothing great or exceptional considering the price. B: The service folks there need to be a little cheerful considering it's an ice cream stall. They are always grumpy and will answer you in the rudest way possible. I'd you go alone, or a group of 15 people, and if you want to taste a flavor before buying, you'll still only get 1 cm of ice cream to...
