I recently visited a pure Maharashtrian vegetarian restaurant with my colleagues, and it was an unforgettable culinary experience. We tried couple of their dishes, one of it was Vangyache Bharta (Baingan Bharta), which had a beautifully smoky flavor and a creamy texture with well-balanced seasoning creating a comforting, homely taste.
Next, one was Veg Kolhapuri, known for its bold and fiery flavors. The rich, aromatic gravy paired wonderfully with soft Naan and Roti, delivering a satisfying mix of heat and spice. The dish had a perfect balance of flavors, without being overwhelmingly spicy.
The awa Pulav was another highlight, with its smoky and tangy flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the mix of vegetables and spices added depth to the dish, making it hearty and filling.
For starter we tried their Veg Manchurian which was a little less crispy but had great taste when paired with shechwan chutney. For dessert, we indulged in Modak a traditional Maharashtrian sweet. The soft outer shell and sweet coconut-jaggery filling made it a delightful treat. The balance of sweetness was just right, leaving a lasting impression.
The restaurant’s ambience was equally impressive. The seating area was clean, hygienic, and spacious, with well-arranged tables. The cozy atmosphere added to the homely feel of the place, making the dining experience more enjoyable.
Overall, the restaurant offered a perfect blend of traditional Maharashtrian flavors in a budget-friendly setting. If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Maharashtra, this place is a must-visit, especially for groups or family gatherings. The food, along with the comfortable and inviting atmosphere, makes it an ideal spot for anyone craving a...

Read moreTaste is A M A Z I N G !! We ate Wange Bharit and Bhakari and Kothimbir wadi and Lassi......If you have appetite, one should try more and more dishes. Quantity of Wange Bharit is big and enough for two. When my friend enquired about it, guy at counter said he should buy 2 portions for 2. He was suggesting. Not forcing. But definitely it was much more for 2. We could finish only one portion.
Drawback is its a self service restaurant. So 1st u need order and then pick it up from counter. No dedicated parking but u can find in small lanes n by-lanes. Location is pretty easy to find, that's exactly opposite MIG Clubs entrance.
Staff is good. Lassi is expensive but amazingly tasty. Didn't find a washroom. Fairly clean n hygienic.
Worth visiting frequently, to try various dishes....
