Bhagat Tarachand's Lower Parel Delight: Where Familiarity Meets Flavor Wandering the bustling streets of Lower Parel, I stumbled upon a familiar sign - B Bhagat Tarachand. A wave of nostalgia washed over me, transporting me back to countless family meals at their famed Pydhonie outlet. The warmth of the place and the promise of their legendary vegetarian fare ignited a sense of comfort and excitement.

Upon entering, the vibrant atmosphere was a welcoming embrace. The aroma of spices, the friendly chatter, and the sight of families enjoying their meals transported me back to countless shared experiences. The familiar menu, bearing the same beloved dishes, held the promise of recreating those cherished moments.

And recreate they did! Each bite of the signature Paneer Tikka Masala, bursting with tangy, spiced flavor, was a reminder of the consistent quality that Bhagat Tarachand has built its reputation on. The Dal Tadka, simmered to perfection, brought back memories of laughter and lively conversations exchanged over steaming bowls.

The star of the show, however, was the Special Thali. A symphony of colors, textures, and aromas, it was a testament to the expertise of the kitchen. Each dish, from the fluffy chapatis to the vibrant sabzis, retained the same authentic taste and quality that has defined Bhagat Tarachand for generations.

This consistency across outlets is what truly makes Bhagat Tarachand special. It allows families to create new memories while cherishing the old. It assures a familiar comfort, a sense of belonging, and the knowledge that no matter where you find yourself, a taste of home awaits.

More than just a meal, Bhagat Tarachand's Lower Parel outlet is an experience. It's a celebration of tradition, family, and the unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional vegetarian cuisine. It's a place where memories are made, stories are shared, and the warmth of good food brings people together. It's, in short, a testament to the magic of consistency, reminding us that sometimes, the most comforting journeys are those that lead us back to familiar shores, laden with the richness of tradition and the promise...

Celebrating Wins, the Bhagat Tarachand Way

After a quick visit to Siddhivinayak to celebrate a friend’s professional milestone, we were in the mood for some solid vegetarian food. Naturally, Bhagat Tarachand came to mind. With so many versions out there, we just went with the closest—Bhagat Tarachand B. And it turned out to be a fantastic choice.

They offer valet parking, which is always a plus in the city. Surprisingly, even on a Monday night, there was a 40-minute wait. That said, their waiting area is well set up—plush sofas inside, extra seating outside, and the vibe inside is vibrant and upscale. Yes, a bit noisy, but still cozy. The staff was courteous, attentive, and knew their menu well.

What We Ordered: • Papad Churi: A classic, and they nailed it. • Pav Bhaji: Flavorful, though slightly on the sweeter side for my taste. • Shev Tamatar Sabji: Outstanding. Comfort food at its best. • Veg Dehati: We were torn between this and Veg Chili Mili. The waiter recommended Dehati, and he was spot on—spicy, rich, and deeply satisfying.

To go with it: • Special Ghee Roti: Soft and comforting. • Missi Roti & Makai Roti: These missed the mark for us. Definitely had better versions elsewhere.

Final Verdict:

Despite a couple of misses, Bhagat Tarachand B lives up to its reputation. The food was rich, flavorful, and satisfying. If you’re looking for elevated vegetarian dining with a touch of tradition, it’s definitely...

Walking into the Bhagat Tarachand outlet in Lower Parel feels like stepping into a warm and welcoming home. The décor is inviting, with the aroma of spices and simmering home-style delicacies immediately filling the air, whetting your appetite for the culinary journey ahead.

Much like their other outlets, the menu at this Bhagat Tarachand outlet offers a delightful selection of authentic Indian dishes, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Each dish bursts with unique flavors and spices, showcasing the diverse culinary traditions of India. An absolute treasure trove of vegetarian dishes, there's something for everyone on the menu.

My personal favourite is the thali, that comes with a delicious day fry and sabzis, along with other mouthwatering accompaniments like papad and chaas.

The cherry on the cake is the friendly and attentive staff, ensuring you have a pleasant dining experience. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to answer any questions you may have. They go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome, like a guest in their own home.

Even though this outlet is not in my neighbourhood, I would happily travel to lower parel to eat here...

I had Special Bhagat Thali , I guess the items in the thali may vary daily, my thali included. Butter chapati : served hot and absolutely tasty chapati covered with butter. Bhendi Batata : served in bowl crispy bhendi and batata cubes sprinkled with some chat masala which was finger licking good. Mixed vegetables gravy: served in bowl , this one was my most favourite dish rightly balanced and complimented well with butter chapati. Paneer Handi: served in bowl this was my least favorite in the dish, this was a mild dish. Pulav : served hot and mixed veg pulav which goes with the gravy or even daal. They also offer white rice instead of pulav. Dal tadka : Nice daal with right Tadaka Motichoor ladoo :Absolutely tasty ladoo. Overall I like the taste and Ambience and they have friendly staff and cleaniness all over.
