After a quick visit to Siddhivinayak to celebrate a friend’s professional milestone, we were in the mood for some solid vegetarian food. Naturally, Bhagat Tarachand came to mind. With so many versions out there, we just went with the closest—Bhagat Tarachand B. And it turned out to be a fantastic choice.
They offer valet parking, which is always a plus in the city. Surprisingly, even on a Monday night, there was a 40-minute wait. That said, their waiting area is well set up—plush sofas inside, extra seating outside, and the vibe inside is vibrant and upscale. Yes, a bit noisy, but still cozy. The staff was courteous, attentive, and knew their menu well.
What We Ordered: • Papad Churi: A classic, and they nailed it. • Pav Bhaji: Flavorful, though slightly on the sweeter side for my taste. • Shev Tamatar Sabji: Outstanding. To go with it: • Special Ghee Roti: Soft and comforting. • Missi Roti & Makai Roti: These missed the mark for us. Definitely had better versions elsewhere.
Final Verdict:
Despite a couple of misses, Bhagat Tarachand B lives up to its reputation. The food was rich, flavorful, and satisfying. If you’re looking for elevated vegetarian dining with a touch of tradition, it’s definitely...
