Chimichurri, The Asian Kitchen : Lokhandwala — Restaurant in Mumbai

Eating out on weekends is my favourite activities, especially trying out new restaurants. I would like to talk abt Chimichurri which i enjoyed.

Very spacious, I enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. The tinted glasses added to the vibe of the place. As soon as u enter u will notice a fully stocked bar, which sets up the tone. We were offered the best seats in the house which always gives me a high. Missed an instagramable corner to capture a perfect moment at Chimichurri .

The staff were friendly and attentive. They made special efforts to ensure that we were comfortable throughout our meal. Browine points to Shital for excellent service and recommendations.

The feel-good music added to the atmosphere of the restaurant. The songs were peppy and made us sway to its rhythm.

What we ate

Chimichurri chicken dumplings - the dumplings were delicious. Flavourful fillings with a thin skin.

Tempura shrimp - crispy, crunchy, yummy served with wasabi and chilly garlic dipping sauce.

Chimichurri Ramen with noodles - Umami flavours. This was more soupy, if the portion of the noodles would be more then this would become saucy - an unbeatable dish.

Chu cha prawns - hot crispy prawns tossed in chillies and egg whites along with yummy spices seasoning. This was surely a wok to remember.

Mango tres leches - this was served complimentry to us. The tres leches was moist with 3 different types of milk, creamy and had mango written all over it. The portion size was huge yet we managed to polish it off in seconds.

Spiced jamun lemonade - fizzy jamun and chilly, a match made in heaven.

Mango basil smootie - this was good, could have been better. Missed the overpowering flavors of mango and basil both. This had vanilla written all over it. Served in a fancy glass could be more presentable with garnishing.

I really was taken by suprise by this place, this is new and from Poptates which is a very popular joint. But I was not ready for such an amazing Pan Asian food, just delicious I would really go there for the safe bet. Such great taste and great service. I have dietery restrictions as being lactose intolerance so I told them to give me tofu option they had for veg Bao, which was super tasty. My favourite. Also the Thai green curry with Jasmine rice is amazing just mouth watering and can't be missed. Just one feedback, please don't make iced tea too syrupy or sweet. Rest this is one of my favourite place now also because it's very pocket friendly in terms of the food and service quality. I was so happy that I had to review it. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the newly opened Chimichurri in Lokhanwala. The restaurant is well designed and the atmosphere is great. The staff is polite and quick to respond.

I had the opportunity to try a variety of their dishes.

We started with the Mojito and Mango Basil. Both were delicious and refreshing.

The Assorted Dumplings were also delicious and cooked to perfection. The Tempura Shrimp Sushi was supre tasty. The Roast Chicken Jus Sizzler was the highlight of the meal. It was cooked to perfection and the flavors were amazing.

To end the meal, we had the Red Velvet cake. It was moist and delicious and the presentation was top notch.

Overall, I had a great experience at Chimichurri. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and unique...
