Disappointing Experience at Lalbaug and Prabhadevi Branche
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with the hotel at both their Lalbaug and Prabhadevi branches. Despite the hotel being open, we were denied entry on two separate occasions.
Upon arrival at the Lalbaug branch, we were told that there was a huge waiting list of customers. This was quite surprising as the hotel appeared empty, with no other guests in sight. To make matters worse, they mentioned that they were about to close the hotel soon. This excuse felt completely unconvincing and left us frustrated.
Hoping for a better experience, we tried the Prabhadevi branch on another occasion. Unfortunately, we faced the exact same issue. Once again, we were informed about a supposed waiting list and an imminent closure of the hotel, despite no visible signs of either.
This kind of treatment is unacceptable and incredibly frustrating. The lack of transparency and honesty from the hotel staff was disheartening. We were looking forward to a pleasant stay but were left feeling unwelcome and dissatisfied.
I strongly urge the management to address these issues and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. Customer service should be a priority, and misleading potential guests is not the way to build a positive reputation. Until these problems are resolved, I cannot recommend this...
Read moreFlavours of China in Lalbaugh serves up some tasty Chinese dishes, but there are a few things to consider before visiting. First off, parking is a significant issue. The area is quite congested, and finding a spot can be a frustrating experience, especially during peak hours. If you’re planning to drive, I’d recommend allowing extra time just to park.
Once inside, the restaurant is noticeably loud and crowded. The place is popular, which is great, but it also means that the noise level can be quite high, making conversation difficult. The seating is a bit cramped, adding to the bustling atmosphere. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing dining experience, this might not be the best choice.
On the positive side, the food is flavorful, and the portions are generous. The menu offers a wide variety of Chinese dishes, and the service is relatively quick despite the crowd. If you don’t mind the noise and the parking hassle, Flavours of China is a decent option for a...
