Hare Krishna Hotel in Santacruz appears to be a well-regarded option, particularly for its convenient location near the domestic airport (T1) and Vile Parle East railway station. However, it's important to note that some reviews refer to "Hotel Rama Krishna" and others to "Hare Krishna Restaurant," which might indicate slightly different establishments or aspects of the same entity (hotel with an attached restaurant). Based on the aggregated information, here's a detailed review: Location (4.2 - 4.4/5): * Excellent Proximity: The hotel boasts a fantastic location, especially for travelers needing quick access to both T1 and T2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. The free airport shuttle service is frequently mentioned as a significant convenience. * Near Vile Parle Station: Its proximity to Vile Parle East railway station makes it easy to navigate the city using local trains. * Central and Accessible: Situated on or near key roads like Nehru Road and CST Road in Kalina, Santacruz East, it offers good connectivity. Landmarks like Mumbai University and Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) are also relatively close. * Surroundings: While the central location is a plus, some reviews mention that the surroundings can be noisy due to the main road. Cleanliness (3.8 - 4.0/5): * Generally Good: Many guests have found the hotel to be clean and neat. * Occasional Concerns: A few reviews mention minor cleanliness issues, though these don't seem to be widespread. Rooms (3.9 - 4.1/5): * Cozy and Well-Furnished: Rooms are often described as cozy and well-furnished with amenities like AC and LCD TV. * Compact Size: Some guests have noted that the rooms can be small, which might be a consideration for longer stays or those with more luggage. * Amenities: Rooms typically include air conditioning, attached bathrooms, and televisions. Some reviews mention the availability of Wi-Fi, though its reliability can vary. Hairdryers and toiletries are usually provided. Value for Money (3.9 - 4.0/5): * Reasonable Tariffs: The hotel is generally considered to offer reasonable value for the price, especially given its location. * Complimentary Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast is frequently praised for its taste and variety, adding to the value. Food & Dining (4.8/5 for the restaurant): * Delicious Vegetarian Food: The in-house restaurant (often referred to as "Hare Krishna Restaurant" or "Rama Krishna Restaurant") receives high praise for its delicious vegetarian food. * Variety of Options: Guests have enjoyed South Indian, North Indian, and Gujarati dishes. The Gujarati breakfast is particularly highlighted in some reviews. * Pure Vegetarian: It's often mentioned as a pure vegetarian restaurant. * Possible Cost: One review noted that while the food quality is good, it might be on the costlier side. * Nearby Options: There are also pure vegetarian restaurants with moderate rates located nearby. Service (Excellent): * Friendly and Cooperative Staff: The staff is consistently described as friendly, helpful, and cooperative. * Prompt Service: Many guests mention the promptness of the service. * Airport Shuttle: The efficient and helpful airport drop service, even at early hours, is a significant plus for many travelers. * 24-Hour Assistance: A 24-hour front desk is available to assist guests. Amenities: Based on various sources, amenities include: * Free Wi-Fi (though reliability can vary) * Restaurant (serving vegetarian cuisine) * Free Airport Shuttle * Laundry Service * Free Parking * Air Conditioning * Room Service * 24-hour Front Desk * Housekeeping * Luggage Storage * TV in rooms * Attached Bathroom * Telephone * Hot and Cold Water * Some rooms may have a safe.

Here on maps it showed that the restaurant opens at 8 am, so we reached by 8.10 am with a hungry stomach and since we were in a hurry, but the opening and cleaning was still in progress. Finally we were seated upstairs at 8.30 am and it's commendable that they served the order pretty quickly. Many other customers followed us and I liked their service time. It's a multi cuisine restaurant and I have tried their North Indian meal a few years ago. It was very delicious. This time, I went for the South Indian breakfast of Idli, Vada, and Set Dosa. Filter Coffee was super delicious. Set Dosa was awesome, and my first experience. It has a slightly sweet after taste. Worth a try! Please check the images and videos. Fantastic food experience in this restaurant, we went to mumbai for the first time. And the first restaurant we landed in to this restaurant. We have ordered butter tandoori roti and garlic butter Naan with Panner side dish , I forgot the exact name of the side dish, it's was so spicy and softy panner I ever had . It's more than enough for the south indian ppl like us . Then , this is the best part . We have ordered famous sweet Lassi . OH My Gosh . That was made out in heaven. This is so called out of the world 🌎.then we have ordered butter milk , it was so thick and fluffy foam like on top and little green Chilli spicy and curry leaves ...apt level of salt ...blasting flavours all in a one cup of butter milk. Eager to visit again . If I have a plan to visit mumbai.

My Google Review # 000436.

Had to eat here couple of times in the last one year, due to no other good options near our office, other than Nityanand Hotel which serves non-veg too.

Now, if you take a table seat here and wait for a friend to join you, the waiter stands in front of you, blocking your vision and pesters you to order some dish asap!

We recently had a lunch for a team of 35 and the waiters, the head waiter, the supervisor served us without a single smile for 90 minutes. How can you be so full of greed that you forget smiling? The management of delivering such orders was late and the food tasted equally bad.

There were mushrooms in one of the dishes which first was declined with an ice-cold no from all waiters and later they accepted it. The lower cadre staff appeared to be exploited. The billing was a mess. They had overcharged some items and we got them to correct it. But, surprisingly they couldn’t give us the correct bill, saying it is a GST issue. You pay Rs 1500 and get a bill of Rs 2000, because of GST issue. What a joke!

Today, I read on Google, that they pay people for getting a 5-star rating. Believe it or not, but, if you eat here, console yourself saying "this is the only option in the vicinity of 1km of my office".

All types of payments accepted here – UPI, cash, debit cards, credit cards. Parking available only in the front of the hotel. Date of...

I have visited and ordered from Hare Krishna restaurant quite often due to its close proximity from my house but I must say, I am highly disappointed with this place. I visited this restaurant today with a bunch of friends. When I called earlier to reserve a table for 12, I was told that the restaurant would be very much empty and we could take whichever table we’d wish for. In the restaurant, we had a horrible experience. The orders were taken rudely and the behaviour of the staff was quite demeaning. We were 12 ladies, just hanging out and having our fun when someone walked to us and told us very rudely not to play housie and how women go to their restaurant and spend 2-3 hours and not leave so they don’t allow “Kitty parties”. Quite frankly, we weren’t making too much noise and did order quite a lot and pay as needed. Despite the restaurant being quite empty at the time, they expected us to leave sooner and we observed them being rude to the customers on the next table too. A man purposely asked us if we’d like to join the table next to ours, even when we never mentioned it just so the girls on that table would leave sooner. We are very disappointed with the staff of Hare Krishna restaurant and demand strict actions to be taken against the staff who is so rude and toxic. the management should really...
