Never Book this hotel. I booked 2 rooms for 3 night as I had gone there for Embassy Biometrics and for Interview with my family. But after reaching there it was my worst Experience. First of all there was renovation going on at 6th floor which is address of BKC Garden Hotel... so they took me to the 7th floor where there is BKC Grand labeled hotel and they said that they don't have my booking confirmation. I showed them Hotel confirmation voucher and payment receipt and then there answer was that.. you booked through travel agent go and ask him... I called my agent and he talk to Hotel Mgr. Altaf but he said he can't do anything as booking is through online by Agoda Or Expedia and didn't show in his system. I showed him the email sent by hotel to booking agent which showed hotel confirmation. Then later he talk to Sadik who pretends as the owner of whole building with different names of hotels on each floor and he offered me a one single room with 2 double beds on ground floor with other name hotel and ask for Rs. 3,500/- for per night. The room was a real mess and not even clean... Which they got cleaned in my presence. They took all my family members adhaar cards photocopies as proof. But at the same time my agent called me that the BKC Garden / Grand Hotel sent email to booking agent about me, that i have misbehaved with them and that's why they refused me the room... Which was totally wrong. If they refused me room in BKC Garden / Grand for misbehaving then how come they booked room D5 on ground floor hotel for me....? I went to Sadik and showed the screen short to him and then he start saying that it was not for me, it was for some other person. He said that Mgr. Altaf can't send email to anyone without his notice and he don't have any such knowledge that any email has been sent regarding me... He want to cover the episode which they were playing by cheating the innocent people who start their travel on belief that by the time they will reach bombay their room will be ready for them... But they don't know that they have been looted and cheated until they reach there. Later I Refused to stay there and tell Mr. Sadik that it's more then enough that they are cheating and lying and then he said that he haven't charged me and he said that now they have received my booking recently... So don't go anywhere and i can use that room D5 at ground level hotel. But I left for another safe place which was provided by my travel agent Gill World Travels, Nawanshahr, Distt : SBS Nagar, Punjab at the same time. Thanks to my travel agent Gill World Travels for taking pain and helping me and my family even it was sunday on that day. So friend's don't even try to book these hotels... Or either you have to suffer a lot at a place away from your home. I don't have any grudge on them but i want that no one should suffer at a place not known to them...... The building address is : 6th Floor, Building No : 11, Motilal Nehru, Near Trade Center, BKC Road, Bandra East, Mumbai, Maharashtra. One thing I forget to tell is that same Episode happened with other 4 families till the time i was there.... Hope they too might write their reviews regarding these...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would! This is probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. Everyone else in Mumbai have been lovely but somehow all the deceiving cheats ended up working here as the managers. They were not helpful. It definitely was not a hotel (even though they have disguised them well with the oyo label). Rooms were not cleaned everyday. Bathroom was horrible with a toilet that did not flush (even after several complaints, they told us it works by pouring a whole tub of water into the toilet). There was no hot shower (again, they reassured us there is hot water and we just didn’t know how to use it). The WORST part was when they tried to sham us!! We asked for their help to book a train ticket to goa (specifically a 2nd/3rd AC overnight train and at an earlier time if it’s possible) and we even told him that if he doesn’t understand us or can’t do it, we can arrange it through a travel agent ourselves. The day arrives when they are meant to book it through takdal and we remind them the night before and in the morning of the specific trains we are interested in. We call them on numerous occasions to confirm if it was booked only to be told that they will call back in 5 mins, which NEVER happened. They later said they didn’t have our phone number to call us back but this was a lie because we gave them our numbers at check in. Anyway, we see that the manager has booked a sleeper at the latest time..he only provides us with a price of paper with none of our names on it or a price and demands roughly 2000 rupees. This didn’t set well with us and luckily we had a local friend who caught the scam! This guy was giving us a ticket worth 200-300 rupees and selling it for more so that he gets a profit! When we were having this discussion, he starts to use emotional statements like ‘it’s ok madam, I will suffer and pay this out of my own pocket’ (he was still adamant the tickets were worth 2000 rupees).
To summarise: this place is not a hotel (poorly ventilated rooms with no windows and no cleaning provided) poor management deceiving staff who take advantage of tourists
