Hiralal kashidas bhajia wala — Restaurant in Mumbai

I visited Hiralal Kashidas Bhajiawala after hearing so much about their famous undhiyu – and the experience was truly wonderful.

We reached a little early, so the undhiyu wasn’t ready yet. While waiting, we tried their sev khamani, which was absolutely delicious – fresh, light, and full of flavor. The owner was extremely warm and kind, making every customer feel welcome.

When the undhiyu was ready, he offered us to taste it hot and fresh, explaining how different it feels when eaten warm. He even suggested reheating it later in the microwave to enjoy the same flavor again. That thoughtful gesture showed his genuine care for customers.

He also ensured the parcel was packed properly and even helped us with directions. His humble smile and kindness enhanced the taste of the food even more.

The undhiyu itself was outstanding – rich, authentic, and bursting with flavors. But what made the experience unforgettable was the owner’s hospitality.

Disastrous Experience!!

Once famous food outlet now struggling to provide basic food quality.

The Food was a soggy, oil-logged mess, the batter tasting distinctly of old, overused frying oil. It arrived cold and dense, with a texture suggesting it had been sitting out for hours.

It was as if the kitchen staff had given up on the basic principles of cooking, opting instead for speed and convenience over flavor and quality.

Furthermore, Rats and Cats are running across the restaurant and flys/insects are everywhere in the premises. could be due to garbage/gutter area just next to the shop.

Eat from here if you want to get seriously ill....

The most unhygienic hotel and kitchen in Mumbai, if you want to go to the hotel just go to the kitchen which is beside the hotel entrance and you will see rats and cats roaming all over the kitchen, also the owner provides no clothes to the staff, poor lighting condition. Cockroaches running over and there on the food. Zero maintenance only profit...
