Being a foodie i went to md ali road after shopping and i landed in janta fast food. I ordered kababs and chicken hyderbadi biryani. The order took 15 mins to serve but to my horror i tasted one of the worst biryani of mumbai that too in md ali road which is known for it's food. I complained to waiter that it is not good but he started defending how the biryani tastes. Let me tell you the biryani didn't tasted like a Biryani. It was a fried rice in the name of Biryani, added with lots of green chillies paste and green colour, served as a Hyderabadi Biryani.
I asked waiter, Where are you from? He was from lucknow and was a muslim,he told me that, "Biryani aisi he hoti hai". I was frustrated by this whole scenario. The chicken in the biryani was not even fresh. It was stale, chewy, like a rubber.
I complained to the owner that i won't pay you the biryani's bill rest whatever i had i will pay. He started arguing with me and was rude.
I want to tell dis restaurant owner again. Sir, bcz of you i lost interest in md ali road's food. I had the best biryani in hyderabad which is known for the same and at my muslim's frnds also. A roadside biryani taste better than what you guys served and call a BIRYANI which is in true sense it was a fried rice.
Owner says, aajtak koi complain nahi kiya aisa. (Nobody complained till now) What i say is, if someone had did complained then the Biryani would have been a Biryani and not a fried rice!
I didn't paid the bill of the biryani. Oh yes, the bill of biryani was somewhere around 300.
I won't suggest you guys to have biryani from this hotel. Very bad food and service....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe are going to this restaurant from last 6-7years now and everytime we come across new staff and worst service, We had an argument as they were trying to charge us more for the food then what's on the menu, they try to fool people thinking we are fools nd come only during eid, when we said we will only pay according to the menu, the man with the cashier probably (waiter) says "aate kyu hu tum log mat aaya karo" and started abusing us. The cashier was on his side and said "ho gaya na jao" As if he is doing us a favour. Undoubtedly the owner who receives call is also very rude, as if some chapri people are running this restaurant. Once they lose their chef, good food is the reason people prefer going there, they will know to value customers. All chor chakars are serving in restaurants as such.Earlier the stuff was good & polite, but when the owner himself is so rude when you call on the restaurant number, he talks with such attitude as if we disturbed him, then why to put that number in first place. People do not learn with time, once again lockdown and corona...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant today. From the beginning, the service was extremely unprofessional. The waiter was rude and refused to even provide a menu, saying they didnāt have one and instead insisting that we just suggest items.
We ordered a chicken pulao, but they served us tawa pulao instead. When we raised the issue during billing, the waiter arrogantly claimed it was āthe same thingā ā which it clearly is not. The dish was overloaded with potatoes, had nothing to do with what we ordered, and we didnāt even eat it. Instead of admitting their mistake, the staff tried to justify it and pass it off as intentional.
This felt like a deliberate attempt to mislead customers, upsell items, and increase the bill. Both the waiter and the manager showed zero professionalism and no sense of customer service.
Overall, it was one of the worst dining experiences Iāve had. I strongly recommend others to avoid this restaurant unless you want to be fooled and...
