Farmhouse Brass Anchor is the perfect place for family dinners or a cozy date. With beautiful decor, variety of cuisines and incredible portion sizes paired with friendly service, you will definitely keep coming for more !
The place is extremely accessible and is at a walking distance from Borivali Railway station. The resto-bar looks inviting from the outside and the different seating sections pleasantly surprise you when you walk in. The AC seating is super aesthetic and we loved the cool colour tone there. Bar is nice and tucked away on one side and the lighting is great.
Coming to the menus, the spread is huge and diverse. Cuisines include Italian, Indian, Chinese, Continental and some others as well. Drinks are nicely varied too. We tried :
Electric Lemon : Absolutely lit looking mocktail with a blue curacao base and lemon and sprite mix on top. Looks great in low light ! 👌🏽
Pink Lady : Strawberry jus and cherry mixed with a bit of lemon soda make up this pretty looking mocktail. Great for sipping !
Oriental Chicken Wings : Sweet Spicy Chicken wings with great coating having a nice crunch to it. The aftertaste is meaty and lingering !
Lebanese Platter : Pita Pockets, Falafel, Hummus, Garlic Sauce, Baba ganoush, pickled salad and roasted paneer stacked nicely together for an overall wholesome and tasty dish. Eating this was fun combining all the different flavours.
Fuken Chicken Chilly : Chinese starter with a contemporary twist, the spice levels are quite high on this one but you'll reach out for a second serving in no time. Try it !
Alishan Chicken Tikka : Lovely, freshly tandoored and moist malai tikka pieces nicely layered with egg foam on top served on a sizzling plate for that earthy aftertaste. Have it with the mint chutney for max effect !
Chicken Amritsari : Quite different from the usual chicken Amritsari, it had a lot of tawa flavours and punchy masaledar kicks to it. Had it with a cheese naan to balance out the strong flavours. Loved the portion size as well !
Penang Flat Noodles with Chicken : Tried this different type of oriental main course, consisting of thick flat noodles loaded with exotic vegetables and chicken chunks. The noodles were tossed in a subtle flavoured sauce with lots of apple flavours to it. Would recommend if you don't mind fruit in your food.
Oreo Sundae : The live Jalebi Rabdi counter was super tempting but we went for the oreo sundae as we were too stuffed from the main course. The sundae was nice and yum with bite sized oreo pieces on top of vanilla scoops paired with jelly, chocolate sauce and nuts.
The service is super friendly and our servers had some great recommendations for us. Big up for the portion sizes as they are sufficient for two. Price point is just bang for buck. Waiting time between orders is also superb and your dishes arrive almost in no time.

Visited this restaurant for a special occasion—my parents’ wedding anniversary—but the experience was a complete letdown.
Despite arriving 15-20 minutes before our booking time, the receptionist informed us that our preferred seating area wasn’t available. After some reluctance, they finally seated us at a table meant for eight, even though our reservation was for five. That was just the start of the issues.
While we were still eating our starters, the manager abruptly came over and told us (not requested) to change tables because a larger group was waiting. Completely unacceptable—we had a reservation, were already seated, and were mid-meal. From that point on, the service turned pushy and rushed. The waiter kept hovering, pressuring us to order our next course while we were still eating, making the entire experience uncomfortable.
The food? Another major disappointment. The starters were undercooked and raw inside, while the chicken main dish was drowning in garam masala, making it barely edible. To make matters worse, mosquitoes were swarming around our table, and one even landed in our food. While they did replace the dish, the overall hygiene was appalling.
Adding to the unpleasant atmosphere, the music blasting through the restaurant made it feel more like a dodgy bar than a dining venue—way too loud, completely off for the setting, and honestly just sad. Not quite the vibe we were hoping for. Made me miss my beers, haha.
What’s even more frustrating is that I found a review from about a month ago calling out the exact same issues—rude staff and a mosquito problem. The restaurant had responded with 14 replies full of promises to improve, yet clearly, nothing has changed. The lack of effort to fix ongoing concerns shows a complete disregard for customer feedback and basic hospitality standards.
This was supposed to be a memorable dinner, but instead, it was frustrating and disappointing. My mum had suggested going elsewhere, and in hindsight, I wish we had listened.
Sorry Lads, I wouldn’t recommend this...

Farmhouse has various branches in mumbai, we have heard alot about this place, and this was on our this. Visited this classic place yesterday night, it was full , the place is really decent , you will always see gpod family crowd, the manager is also sweet assisted us happily
So the place has indoor and outdoor seatings as well, the place is really good and can occupy around 70-80 people at a time. We found the seatings very classy , they have taken care of each and everything precisely, even would like to highlight the washrooms are neat and clean.
Service at this place is little slow but thats just because of the crowd, and huge occupancy at a time. but yes all staffs are helpful and courteous
We had Pink lady and canned cranberry juice to start with, we try
Peri peri spiced paneer tikka suggested by the server was extremely good and highly recommended absolute worth and , scrumptious liked the flavours, fresh malai paneer chunks with delicious flavours, good presentation and texture
Chicken angara just no words for this dish, i am very specific in having chicken dishes , i really found this one the best to have chicken dishes, the chicken was too soft properly marinated and cooked to perfection
For mains we opted spicy veg ball sizzler, another bang on, most of the times its observed sizzlers are not that great and satisfactory, but trust me these guys have nailed it , sureky visiting this place to try some other sizzlers on their menu
For dessert we took, which came in a wide glass and was sufficient for 2 of us , the brownie was hot inside and vanilla ice-cream was added along with small choco chocobar for presentation and chocolate sauce too.
We really enjoyed our time here, the review is based on our personal...
