Read moreThali Food on TUESDAYS is available at half ( around Rs.256/-) the regular price (490/-), but when you reach for food you need to wait in a long queue of 2 hours waiting. Closing time at night is 11pm, but on tuesdays they serve for around 12 midnight.
I went to Rajdhani at R City mall Ghatkopar last night which was Tuesaday, it was full packed due to half pricing day which is only on the Tuesdays in a week for their usual thali they offer.
I had to wait for 2 long hours after getting my name written on their wait Listing paper, every time the manager come out of the door and yells loudly the name of the next person in the queue , this was literally giving us the feeling as if you have come to a government hospital for the treatment of a critical illness and you are looking at the compounder's face and the list in his hand for your turn to see your doctor.
They write the wait-list by your name only, without giving you any queue number, unlike you go to Dominoz or Pizza Hut. If you are not available by the time they call your name, you are out of the queue.
so, you have to be there at the door only at a stretch for hours on your feet without there being any sitting arrangement where you could listen to that manager's voice yelling your name.
Even the entrance door is packed by that manager along with the people gathering around him, like if you have to go inside or come outside of the restaurant you need to push the manager and other people next to him.
Finally, after long wait our turn arrived in the listing, but untill then we had lost our appetite altogether, Food was good but seemed to be unsatisfactory due to mental exhaustion.
They have messed up their arrangement just for the sake of showcasing that they have huge customer base at the restaurant door only, but they forget that food is for delight not for plight.....
I Decided never to come back ever again. After all the food is not for free, they do charge half the price, but the remaining discounted half is not at all worth of that mental torture by their queue misarrangement AND LOSING YOUR APPETITE WAITING FOR...
