The other day we were in R city mall stopped by this place for lunch as this place was on my wishlist since quiet a while now. Talking about the ambience and decor of the place it's pretty much like forest inspired interiors as the name of the place suggests. They have done an incredible job in putting up the overall decor and it feels superb. There is total darkness and spot lights are present on table with some quirky lights and lanterns hanging. Hundred marks for the theme and execution of the same. Coming to the f&b part , we truly enjoyed every single thing we had over here. In drinks we had Rainforest fantasy and mocktail of the day; both the mocktails were super refreshing and good in taste. Mixologist have done real good job in making both of them! In appetizers we had murgh alishaan kebab which was chicken breast tikka marinated in mildly spiced marination and topped with grated cheese. Loved it as it was filling and perfectly cooked with that smokey flavor to it. Also gave a shot to Kung pao prawns which were made to perfection by the chef and would go perfectly as a bar nibble too. 8 pieces of prawns well tossed in kung pao sauce along with cashew forming great sweet & spicy taste was fab. You shouldn't even think of missing on it. Coming to the mains we ordered for murgh nawabi and garlic naan along with it. It was pure bliss. The gravy was thick and rich having cashew nut paste and fresh cream base and went amazing with the naan and makkai roti too. The last dish for the day was green thai curry which was served with steamed rice. It was thick and had generous portions of chicken and veggies in it. It would easily suffice 2 average eaters. The best part was it wasn't made with any alterations and had authentic taste and flavors of Thai cuisine. To sum up our scrumptious meal we had sizzling brownie and gulab jamun with ice cream in dessert. Brownie was fresh and soft and tasted really good. Gulab jamun was served hot and chilled ice cream along with it was totally sinful. The hospitality over here is beyond words. Captain Ravi and RM Santosh made sure best of experience is been given to us and Kudos to the overall management. Would be visiting the other outlets soon.

‘A jungle full experience’ - Started recently, this place is an eye catcher. A jungle themed restaurant. Hiranandani Estate, Thane has became an happening place with such restaurants around. The ambience is just out of the world, inbuilt jungle safari it feels. They way architecture/designing has taken place is a commendable one. The seating arrangement is perfect. No dance floor. Music is just fine, need improvisation in that part. We tried the below menu: Drinks: 1) Blush on ice (Mocktail) - Colourful layers. A mixture of strawberry, orange, kiwi and blue curacao layered between crushed ice and topped with sprite. (Highly Recommended) 2) Secret Forest (Cocktail) - This is very high on vodka and less of rum. A mixture of various juices (cranberry, lychee, orange, Grenadine and lime). (Recommended for the vodka lovers) 3) Draught Bira White Glass - I wondered whether it was bira white or not, tasted like kingfisher. (Not Recommended) Starters: 1) Flaming bourbon wings - Oh my my, this was the most favourite dish for the day. Served flamed with bourbon whiskey, fried chicken wing wok tossed in delicious oriental barbeque sauce. (Highly Recommended) 2) Corn fritters - Served with cream cheese dip. Crispy fried American corn fritters with spicy spinach and cheese sauce was a very decent one. (Vegeterian) 3) Paneer angaarey - This one is served flamed with gin. Cottage cheese marinated in curd, red chilli and mixture of spices. (Recommended) 4) Prawns Cocktail - Loved the presentation. The prawns were super fresh. Served with cocktail sauce (mayonnaise, tomato, tobasco, herbs, spices). (Recommended for sea food lovers) Mains: 1) Manchurian burnt garlic rice - Nothing that great in this dish. A very decent performer for the night. Dessert: 1) Sizzling Brownie - This one is chef’s special. Loved every bit of it. Overall it is a happening place to visit. The service was little slow but is manageable. Please make reservation before visiting. Highly Recommended. Happy Eating :)

Rainforest R city Mall, Ghatkopar ❖ My Suggestion- • Refresh Me(Cocktail) • Mai Tai (Cocktail) • Spicy Thai peanut chicken(Starter) • Prawns Shanghai(Mains) ❖ Location- R city mall in ghatkopar, is kind of really famous mall in central side of Mumbai.(4.5/5) ❖ Theme- Made a proper jungle kind of theme, Really innovative theme I must say. (4.5/5) ❖ Ambience- Theme has perfect matching of the ambience. Interiors got a proper proper jungle look which was needed. If you are in the restaurant then you won’t believe that you are seating in the mall. As soon as you enter inside you can hear a waterfall voice and your jungle safari starts there itself. Each tables got lights so that there is sufficient brightness as otherwise restaurant is dark. Totally different experience once you are inside the restaurant. Highly impressed with the ambience what they have created.(5/5) ❖ Food and Beverage- Each restaurant is classified with different categories like ambience, service food and beverage part etc; here I feel they were lacking to be honest. Menu is really nice and you have so many options to choose from. Having such a lengthy menu is a brave move to be honest. They have mainly north Indian, Chinese and Italian food. Good that being a desi theme and look of the restaurant they have kept lot of non Indian dishes. Beverages were winner here compared to food of the restaurant. Perfect flavouring, good balancing and nice garnishes all of these were spot on in the cocktails which we had. Food wise I was really disappointed to be honest. Taste, garnished, flavours were missing in many of the food dishes.(3/5) Beverages- • REFRESH ME (Cocktail) - white wine and vodka based refreshing cocktail made with cucumber, mint, lime juice, basil (Muddles) and dash of green apple syrup. Can say a refreshing start to your meal.(4.5/5) • MAI TAI (Cocktail) - A perfect classical cocktail had pineapple juice, curacao, white rum, dark rum and lime. Nothing can go wrong in this I feel.(5/5) Food- • PAYE DA SHORBA (Soup) - An Indian version of broth made with Indian spices, mutton and made little spicy to the perfection. Always love the paya/broth kind of soups sp as soon as I saw I ordered it. It was nice and flavoursome with good amount of mutton stock, was little spicy though.(4.5/5) ❖ To sum up- When we have food right at any place,everything turns out to be right I feel. If they work on the food they might be perfect. I am saying on the experience what I had but it’s always understood and taken in consideration as a chef or a team can have one of the days when they are underperformed I feel this was the case with my visit. Would visit their other two outlets of Mumbai and I am sure they will serve few of the amazing dishes from their menu. Rainforest is Celebrating Briyani Festival at All Outlets Where You will get to Experience Unique Briyani. Visited Ghatkopar Outlet Which is Located at 3rd Floor, Near Inox Cinemas, R City Mall, LBS Marg, Ghatkopar West, Mumbai. The Ambience here will make you experience like you are having your meal at Forest. Recently Visited Rainforest For Busy Weekend Lunch and Experienced Amazing Briyani Festival. Following are list of Food Items I Tried 1) Mocktails:- I Had Blush on ice, Rainforest Spritzer, Rainforest Fantasy and Mocktails of the Day. Mocktail.Of The Day Was Watermelon Based Mocktail Pour in Watermelon. 2) Starters:- In Starters I Had Zhinga Nashila which came as hot Sizzling Tandoor Prawns with In-House Salads. Other Starters Was Chicken Alishan Kebab Which Was Served with Mint Chutney and Salad 3) Mains:- Briyani Festival Was Going On! So I Tried Kashmiri Rogan Josh Dum Briyani From Briyani Festival Menu. Which Was Cooked With Long Grain Basmati Rice. Specialty from From Kashmir 4) Desserts:- In Desserts We had Indian Sweets Like Gulab Jamun, Rabdi From Desserts Festival Menu and Vanilla Ice-creams from Regular Menu. Overall, It was Wonderful Experience Trying Kashmiri Dum Briyani and Indian Sweets. Apart From Festival Menu, The Mocktails and Starters Were Also Good. We Personally Liked Zhinga Nashila.

RAIN FOREST Recently I visited this outlet located in Rcity mall ghatkopar. They have many more outlet overall Mumbai. Staff was very humble & helpful. Coming to the food's part, we truly enjoyed every single thing we had over here. In drinks we had Lychee blossom and Mocktail of the day;- both the mocktails were super refreshing and good in taste. In appetizers we had Murgh Alishaan kebab :- which was chicken breast tikka marinated in mildly spiced marination and topped with grated cheese. Loved it as it was filling and perfectly cooked with that smokey flavor to it. DELHIWALI MURGH TANDOORI:-this is tandoori chicken having perfect presentation & it's all time favourite dish. Taste & super juicy. In dessert we had Kulfi & Carmel Custard 🍮 both the dessert are good. The service was excellent, captain "Ravi" proper take care of us. Overall has a great experience staff is also polite, attentive & place also has great vibes to chill with you friends. Spend a quality time.
