Maharaja Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Mumbai

We recently visited this restaurant as a group of 16 people, including 5 children, and had a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and very supportive throughout our visit. Their service was excellent — quick, attentive, and always with a smile.

We ordered several dishes, and the food was served fresh and on time. The Murg Musallam was decent, but the highlight of our meal was definitely the Butter Chicken — it was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Our children especially loved it!

The restaurant’s atmosphere is also very pleasant — clean, comfortable, and perfect for family gatherings. Overall, we had a great dining experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, great service, and a family-friendly environment.

Pls if you r going for buffet think 10 times before going ,don't expect the items which r there in the menu ,the menu is only for tempting ,I went for Sunday menu and there were so many items which were not there ,icecream was told will be 4 but only vanilla ,gulab jamun was missing ,moong dal halwa. Was missing ,instead they put gajar halwa ,veg only on request for non veg people after asking ,dahi Puri and panipuri not even compare of roadside and food also no taste , I never comment like this Bec i always go for buffet this was my first pathetic exp and after telling all this they charge me full ,we were a group they should have atleast void one cover ,and no body there to speak all ,no manager (mr shetty ) available . I've been a frequent visitor to this restaurant, always appreciating the consistently excellent food and drinks, particularly the prawns koliwada. However, my latest visit was spoiled by bad service

Despite clearly stating that we did not want masala papad, our server, Shankar, brought it to our table and insisted we eat it, even going so far as to blame us for ordering it. His approach was not only dismissive but also quite rude, despite our polite insistence that we had not ordered it and did not want it.

It's disappointing to see such a contrast between the quality of the food and the level of service provided. I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and address the service issues, as they certainly impact the overall...
