Majestic NX Fine Dining — Restaurant in Mumbai

Majestic Nx is fine as a "go-to" if you don't have a decent non-vegetarian restaurant open or one that's nearby. Its menu has the trappings of a good spread but one has to take care to check for its selling meals before placing an order. Checking with the manager may be of help, not the stewards as their knowledge of the dishes is limited. Good for a alcoholic beverage with a safely fried rawas or pomfret. Avoid the prawns as they could be rubbery or overly spiced. Nor their cutlets which look better than they taste. Stick to simple kebabs, fries, and bites. Surprisingly it attracts families despite a bar ambience within. It can be a happy place with the right choice and right time. The place is often crowded, especially in the outer area where die hard drinkers come in droves. This area is obviously not right in the face of the main restaurant. There is a separate area inside, for small parties which can be exciting and annoying. Exciting to the celebrants, irritants to the decibel levels of other diners. We are regular customers of Majestix NX, today we reached the restaurant at 2:50pm, it was written open till 3:30 and they told us to order as soon as possible bcoz kitchen was getting closed & we ordered , after serving they immediately gave us the bill and the manager told us to pay the bill in between eating, we paid the bill. After that they started asking us how much time it will take to eat , that was totally unacceptable behaviour from their staff.

If they wanted to close, they should have refused us at start only. But they wanted to make the sale but did not let us eat in peace. We were not allowed to eat for even 30 mins and were constantly asked to eat fast.

Majestic Restaurant is near to Mandapeshwar Caves. Ambience wise its ok as no much of view inside or outside. Sitting arrangement is also ok.. no such exotic. For Family, separate small room available. Soothing music is going on. The best part of the restaurant is staff is very cooperative and humble. Not much crowded. Food takes normal time to come.. no delay over there. And another good part is Taste. Taste is very good. We had Mocktail and Paneer Butter Masala. Paneer was so soft and fresh. Loved it. Quantity is also good. 1 sabji is sufficient for 3 people. And Mocktail was also good in taste as well as presentation wise good. Considering locality and other above mentioned issues, rates seem to be unjustified. Overly priced. Overall...
