Pros: I must say I am pretty impressed with the Greek concept and quaint intrinsic details to make it homely yet a cozy place to work, chill, read, and eat altogether. They have a bookshelf, and I could spot some of the mainstream bestsellers. The staff is extremely sweet and super responsive. I even met the owner Shashank. I am delighted, as I was somewhat between peckish and ravenous, and I chose to order espresso martini pull-me-up cake. It was delectable, and this is something to go gaga for. I was pretty much impressed with the signature coffee beverages and monsoon special. It is something that I look forward to while visiting any cafe, as I’d regard myself as a cafe hopper. Basic coffee beverages are everywhere, and variety is something that I appreciate over here. I might consider revisiting if I go shopping in Krishna Curve.
Cons: I asked the server to guide me through non-milk-based hot coffee beverages, and she failed to communicate that passion fruit coffee tonic is cold. I was perplexed when the order arrived. No doubt the taste was appealing but I wanted a hot drink in this chilly weather. Yeah, this part did disappoint me, so I’d recommend performance improvement and training for the same. I know it’s a new place, and it takes time to be prompt in communication skills.
Edit: I revisited Mazi for desserts and coffee during the evening. Crème Brûlée Basque Cheesecake and Coffee Blast Boba caught my attention. The cheesecake was plain, and they torced it with fire so the base became crispy and sugary. It was the best part. I was delighted to watch that happen. Plus, I requested they add less ice to my boba, and trust me, it’s the best cold coffee milk-based boba. Optimum sweetness in the coffee and topiaca boba (if I’m not wrong) is the best combination. I feel happy and...

Read moreI recently visited Mazi Mumbai Cafe and Bar, located in Santacruz West with another outlet in Bandra. The ambiance is incredibly aesthetic, with a cozy vibe, and the space even offers novels to read and games to play. It's the perfect spot to chill with loved ones and soak in the atmosphere.
We started with refreshing beverages—hot chocolate, iced mocha, and a coffee blast. The coffee blast, in particular, was my favorite, and the boba was unique and absolutely delicious. For starters, we ordered the avocado and feta toast, along with the chicken katsu roll. Both were tasty and incredibly satisfying.
For the main course, the chef recommended the mezze platter and the "Pull Me Up" chicken lasagna, which turned out to be my favorite dish of the day—rich, flavorful, and comforting.
To end the meal, we indulged in some mouthwatering desserts: the creamy crème brûlée and Basque cheesecake. Both were the perfect sweet finish to an amazing experience.
Overall, Mazi Mumbai Cafe and Bar provides a 10/10 experience. If you're in Santacruz, this is the ideal spot to relax, enjoy great food, and catch a vibe....
