A Supposed “Fine Dining” Spanish Experience That Fell Flat Milagro Mumbai, located in the Worli-Prabhadevi area, promises a luxurious Spanish fine dining experience. Walking in, the ambience initially looks beautiful and opulent, especially in the main indoor seating area. If you’re planning to visit, I strongly suggest sitting inside. The outdoor section near the windows is underwhelming—there’s no great view, just buildings and trees. The windows are bare, and the placement of fake plants feels uninspired. What’s worse is the plastic rose in a plain glass vase on the table—something you’d expect in a low-effort café, not a fine dining restaurant. Small details like fresh flowers and better table settings could have easily elevated the experience. The napkins were another letdown—stiff and plasticky, far from the elegance expected in fine dining. Service: Where’s the Warmth? The service was a major disappointment. From the moment we arrived, the two receptionists seemed unprofessional—giggling, inconsistently greeting customers (some got a loud “Ola,” while others got nothing). The service lacked standardization, and the staff generally seemed uninterested in creating a welcoming experience. A server interrupted us mid-conversation while we were discussing our order and bluntly asked, “Are you ready to order?”—not once, but three times. Throughout the meal, they kept barging into conversations in an intrusive and awkward manner. Another server checked on our food with a deadpan face, a monotone voice, and zero warmth or enthusiasm—just a robotic box-ticking exercise. The only staff member who showed some level of attentiveness was the one who served us the paella. Clearly, some serious soft-skills training is needed across the board. Food: The Biggest Disappointment We arrived with high expectations for the food, especially for the seafood paella, which should have been the highlight of the evening. The first dish, Pescaito Frito, showed promise—crispy fries with well-cooked fish (possibly sea bass). The tartar sauce was enjoyable, but the pea purée was under-seasoned and slightly grainy. The presentation was decent. Then came the paella—the ultimate letdown. Instead of a beautifully vibrant Spanish paella, what arrived was a burnt, bitter disaster. A rookie mistake—adding paprika at the wrong time—completely ruined the dish, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. To make matters worse, the seafood portion was laughably small. It felt like the kitchen assumed, “Ah, Indians won’t know what real paella tastes like—just send it out, they’ll eat anything.” Wrong. The dish was a disgrace to Spanish cuisine. We provided feedback on the restaurant’s feedback card, but honestly, I doubt it will make a difference. After that disaster, we didn’t even bother ordering dessert. I was tempted to try the pavlova, but we decided to leave and salvage our night at another restaurant. Final Verdict: With a bill of about ₹2000 for the paella, around ₹850 for the pescaito frito, and close to ₹800 for one mocktail and a soft drink, the experience was a complete waste. Nothing made us feel special, satisfied, or even remotely happy. The service lacked refinement, the food was inconsistent (ranging from decent to downright inedible), and overall, it was an overpriced disappointment. Never going back.

This is the type of place that could define luxury dining. Built on the 5th floor of Bengal chemical building (an old Commercial building) this restaurant practically gets everything right. We went in early on a Sunday evening and were greeted so well at the reception. At dusk the subtle sun light filtered into the restaurant which was beautifully lit with sharper lights on the periphery and soft dim lit chandeliers spread through out. The seating was comfortable and spaced out with the only complaint being a strong ac draft on our table. We did some tapas and starters mainly and were so delighted. Their gazpacho paired with their Serrano ham were a delight. As a matter of fact this was some of the nicest aged ham I have ever had in mumbai. For appetizers their boiled and grilled octopus, baked crab meat and prawns ajillo were simply excellent. The prawns ajillo was more like prawns pil pil and wish they would serve it simmering in a skillet. With little space left for mains we ordered a veg paella, which turned out to be the only disappointment of the evening. We could still taste the starch and the uncooked spices. However the great thing was when they enquired and we gave them a feedback they knocked off the charge for the same on their own accord. Which again I think is execeptional display of hospitality. We will go back to try out more things in the menu and probably hog on the ham while we lap up the gazpacho. The place is expensive but delivers on its promise of good spanish food with great ingredients in an uber lux ambience. Highly recommend it.

If you’re looking for a unique dining experience in Mumbai, this Spanish restaurant is an absolute gem. The moment you step in, you’re welcomed by stunning, intricately designed interiors that perfectly capture the essence of Spain. The ambiance is romantic and elegant, with soft lighting and a warm, inviting vibe, making it ideal for a cozy date night or special occasion. The restaurant offers two distinct sections: one for an intimate dining experience and another that’s more vibrant, catering to those looking to party and enjoy a lively atmosphere. Both spaces are beautifully crafted, ensuring a memorable time no matter the occasion. When it comes to food, the menu is a delightful journey through Spain’s finest flavors. Whether you’re craving perfectly cooked steaks, fresh seafood, or indulgent pasta dishes, this place has it all. The steaks are juicy and tender, the seafood is fresh and flavorful, and the pasta dishes are packed with rich, authentic taste. The desserts, too, are not to be missed – they’re the perfect sweet ending to your meal, with every bite being a little piece of heaven. Overall, this Spanish restaurant in Mumbai excels not only in its beautiful interiors and dual atmosphere, but also in its exceptional food. Whether you’re in the mood for a romantic evening or a night of partying, this spot is sure to impress. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food and a memorable experience and it’s just 5 mins away from the sea-link
