Mulk located at Andheri Veera Desai area is definitely a hidden gem!
The place is aesthetically done with traditional artwork on all walls depicting our folklore.
A private dining area for families and group to enjoy the company, a full-fledged bar on another side housing all premium spirits and a open kitchen dishing out mouthwatering delicacies.
The menu is primarily North Indian food, Kebabs, Biriyani & Desserts.
We tried couple of mocktails which were fabulous and well presented!
Lal Paree was freshly made watermelon juice mixed with passion fruit & spite ā Refreshing in each sip!
Virginia Hot Toddy was perfect healing drink made of honey, orange juice, spices & hot water.
Coming to food we ordered for few appetizers and main course - Absolutely flawless :
Cheese Chilly Papad was the perfect snacker to get the appetite going, had oodles of grated cheese added in.
Dahi Ke Kebab was well plated with soft chunks of grated panner served along with mint chutney. Loved it!
Murg Darbari Kebab was again presented in a gastronomical way, these tandoored kebabs were stuffed with cheese in-between. Melted straight in the mouth ā Worth a Try!
Mutton Galouti was again melt in the mouth kind of texture with minced mutton patty placed atop a mini paratha. Recommended!
Tandoori Jhinga was supersized prawns marinated in red Indian spices and cooked in tandoor; 6 pieces served artistically in tequila shaped glasses on a boat shaped plate, came with mint chutney. The catch was super fresh and the most appealing among all the appetizers. Must Try!
Nalli Nihari & Kulcha went along well, the Nalli were small but filled with marrow and the meat on top was succulent.
Subz Biriyani served in dum style with basmati rice and veggies added in along with a side of raita was satisfying.
Desserts were again commendable and well presented :
Rasmalai Tres Leches was the combination of Indo Western dessert, soft milk cake with rasmalai chunks placed atop along with saffron based milk was a pure bliss.
Gulab Jamun & Thandai Mousse was again a fabulous combo & presentation, baby sized gulab jamuns in soft textured mousse was simply perfect.
The service at Mulk is super fast and the staff is very courteous!

Talking about the ambience its quite a royal space with some amazing wall arts and artefacts hung over there. The seating here is for approx. 60 people . Each table has its own space where in no customer from one table would be disturbed by another.
There is a transparent glass to the kitchen space from where you can see the tandoors being made and your dish being presented for you.
Lets hop on to the food which I tried here and I would surely Recommend :
Roomali Khakra : Huge khakra topped with some masalas and a lottt of CHEESEEEE!!! Amazing in taste and a very good filler and pleasing to eyes as well.
Paneer Tikka Multani : Very nicely made dish out of fresh paneer sandwiched with veggies and some cheese as well. A very good starter for Vegeterians.
Tandoori Jinga : Medium sized prawns marinated with some north Indian masalas which seafood eater would love.
Chicken Ruzali Kebab : One of the best starters here which I had . Juicy inside and tandoori outside. Perfectly made and tastes amazing. Dont forget to try this .
Mutton Seekh Kebab : One of the hardest items to crack out in any restaurants as the preparation of the kebab is the most important part . Perfect masalas and I am sure they must have used atleast 12-15 types of masalas while the prep. Must try.
Cheese Makhani : Something unique that I had for the first time. Its was cheese cubes in gravy. A typical chicken / paneer makhani gravy but with cheese cubes.
Butter Chicken : I would say a perfect Butter chicken because it wasn't that sweet but a perfect taste of butter chicken which I guess not many people are used to.
Dal Makhani : A perfect Dal Makhani . That's it !!
Rasmalai Biscuit : Something unique as rasmalai is layered between biscuits . For the first time your tastebud wont accept it but this one is really good.
Kulfi : Basic Malai kulfis which were really good.
To conclude this amazing expierence of mine at Mulk I would just say that its one of the places in Mumbai where you can be sure about the food no matter what you order.
Great Expierence and I hope that this place reaches at the level where...
