New Shanghai — Restaurant in Mumbai

Found this New Shanghai restaurant on Zomato and ordered, where they serve Indo Chinese cuisine. The delivery was quick and on time. The food arrived extremely hot. The quantity was extremely good and the quality was also decent. I haven't visited the outlet to comment on the ambiance and staff.

This is what I tried in my online order:

Veg Triple schezwan rice: 3*/5 The schezwan rice was cooked well and it was very tasty. The veg gravy had all the veggies and it was tasty too. The only thing was that I found the gravy to be extremely spicy otherwise it was a very good dish.

Veg Flat Malaysian Noodles: 4*/5 This was very tasty the flat Malaysian noodles was cooked to perfection,it was stir fried and tossed with garlic, sprouts and spinach. Recommended if you like Malaysian noodles.

They also gave extra schezwan sauces and fried noodles both were very good. Fried noodles were nice and crisp.

New Shanghai is one of my favourite place. They serve decent desi Chinese food. The management and the staff are very good. The quantity of the food is also great. I might have tried almost everything on their menu. It's not a fine dining place The ambience is decent enough . They have AC non AC both. The place is comfortable for both family and non family people and also a perfect place for friends to catch up and have a party. According to me if you order a serving of rice it could be enough for 3 people to eat. But now it depends upon the appetite of a person. My personal favourite is 'everything on the menu. Pls always remember to tip the delivery guys and the service providers....

Got an eye on this place while walking through Santacruz station skywalk and I couldn't resist myself to sneak in. It was typical desi Chinese restaurant with cozy ambience. It had varied options of food. Started with Chicken Crispy, perfectly crispy and extremely delicious (highly recommended). Veg Manchurian, yummy manchurian balls with consistently thick gravy. Triple Schezwan Rice, Rice was bit dry but flavours were perfectly blend. It was served with a large bowl of gravy which compensated the dryness of rice. I had to wait for long time but definitely was worth it. Prices are very cheap and what mattered me alot was quantity. I had to parcel half of my meal. Keep Going...
