Before I review the food, I need to point out 4 CONCERNING ISSUES; The biggest issue is finding this place. It's not marked clearly on Maps. If you're going here please search for 'Shrikant Chambers' instead of going by the restaurant pin. When you enter the main gate, security can guide you as it is quite inside. The tower in which they are located has multiple businesses including a hospital and 2 large gyms and the restaurant is on the top floor (12), getting a lift is an absolute hassle as they're constantly engaged and there are only 2 lifts here It's not easy to get a reservation as they don't answer their phone, it takes a few chances to reach them and if you get lucky they'll call you back. If you walk in without a reservation you may not get a place. When I was trying to reserve it, there was no listed phone number on maps and they're not present on Zomato either so the only way to contact them is through their number on Instagram

FOOD - Honestly nothing great, you can have similar food in most restaurants/lounges in Chembur. However, I must admit their Sushi was good although it was quite over priced and may not fit everyone's budget. Overall the menu is priced quite high but didn't find the quality of food to justify it.

SERVICE - This is an extremely major concern as servers are not at all attentive even though just around 5 tables were occupied when we arrived. Their knowledge of menu items was also severely lacking and they seemed in a bigger hurry to rotate people quickly and clear the table for the next customer. Food and beverage orders take very long but the bill will reach you in less than 60 seconds and they are quick to point out they've not added service charge so please feel free to tip! :|

ATMOSPHERE - This is the only saving grace of the place as the rooftop area was done up well and the view is nice but THERE ARE 2 MAJOR CONCERNS here as well; The space between tables is abysmal, especially if you come as a couple because you'll only get 1 of the 4 small tables in the middle of the restaurant (see my pic to understand the spacing) They only open the rooftop area for sitting at around 6.30 so you don't really get to sit during sunset hours because this is winter and it's dark by 6.45

Overall, it was not a great experience and I wouldn't recommend it. If you really want to check out the view and click a few pics for the 'gram it's ok but nothing much else to rave...

EDIT A very special shout out to Shubham behind the bar who is a master in creating incredible cocktails. You can blindly trust him to mix up some amazing drinks. His knowledge of mixology is evident in the perfect cocktails which he has served us. Just let him know your preferences, sit back, and relax. Kudos to him!!!

Chembur finally gets a rooftop space that's perfect for sundowners as well as for an intimate dinner with your loved ones. Since it has newly opened it's doors, there are some teething issues, but nothing like what has been mentioned in some reviews. No.. the management was not rude... Yes... we were seated at the bar without reservation. No... the person who was taking reservations and managing the guests was very professional and helpful.

Went over on my anniversary and boy I wasn't disappointed! The ambiance, service level, and the friendly staff ensured my evening was perfect. Having read about their signature cocktails, I decided to try the Liquid Sunshine and Pop It Like It's Hot. The cocktails were perfectly balanced and they definitely did not skimp out on the alcohol. Pop It Like It's Hot is my favourite. I tried their Old Fashioned and Whiskey Sour as well and I wasn't disappointed. Special mention that the Old Fashioned was made with bourbon... Phew.

For the tummy cravings, I had their buffalo chicken popcorn which came with a side of buffalo sauce. The black rice and salmon sushi was strictly ok. The Pollo Pesto pizza on the other hand was perfect. The sourdough base was just right. Ended the night with a couple of shots and boy.. it was an evening I loved.

Special shout to Sayali at the front desk, Shubham, the rockstar behind the bar, and to Atul who made our evening special, recommending exactly what to have. I highly recommend NXT LVL for good times with friends and family .
