Finally visited this relatively new cafe in Bandra. The space is small but they have done their maximum in getting the most out of the place. We visited on a Sunday and had to wait even though we had prior reservation due to limited no.of tables. So keep that in mind and reach the cafe accordingly. Since we were many of us, we tried a lot many food items from the menu. Here is what we ate and what we liked.

Tomato Basil Bell Pepper soup - tomato was overpowering the basil taste & couldn’t taste the bell pepper. Avocado Toast - It was really nice. The touch of pomelo (grapefruit) was really refreshing. Highly recommended & a must order. Falafel Pocket - They were very dry, they need to add more hummus inside the pockets. The falafel was crispy and nice. Thecha Cheese Grill - It wasn’t spicy enough. With the cheese and double bread layer, they must increase the spicy thecha flavour to give its authenticity. Peri Peri Fingers (Tofu) - Deep fried and crispy. It was nice. Loaded Nachos - Decent in terms of the flavours. Spinach Mushroom Cheese Crepes - It was nice. Mumbai Delight - The vadas were lacking the Mumbai punch. The masala tea was nice. Jackfruit Makhani - Tried such a dish for the first time and it was nice. Can give it a go if you want to try something different. Shakshuka - This was another different take of a popular dish with chargrilled Tofu pieces served in a red gravy pan along with some pita bread. It was a good dish. Breakfast Quesadilla - It was nice. Loved the taste. Tofu Schnitzel Wrap - The wrap was nice. Liked the taste and the flavours. Korean Cheese Buns - The buns were a disappointment. There was very less salt in it and also it lacked the garlicky flavour. Hazelnut Gianduja Pancakes - Pancakes were a little dry but the taste was nice. It was served with caramelised bananas and chocolate coated grapes.

Espresso - Had the double espresso and the coffee was rich in flavour. Must try if you like espresso. Berry Black Iced Tea - It lived up to its name. Loved it. Kahwa Iced Tea - It was really nice. The flavours were bang on. Raspberry Mocha (Hot) - Loved it. The raspberry taste was complimenting the mocha flavour very well. Classic Lemonade - It was nice. Could go wrong with this. Lemon Ginger Soda - It was nice. Pink Guava Chamomile Iced Tea - Absolutely loved this! It was an instant hit with everyone and we ended up calling for multiple orders of this iced tea. We even added some chilli powder & salt to it on top and it was the most delicious Guava drink I’ve had in a long time.

All in all, it was a wonderful experience to eat at the cafe. The staff were polite and helpful and the service was really top notch considering it was a full house. Will definitely come back here for...

New Place Alert

Pause opened their doors in Bandra sometime back with their all Vegan Menu and we decided to give it a try!

Came here for a Saturday lunch and the place was fully crowded with patrons enjoying the F&B here.

We ordered the below :

Tahini Dates Coffee Milkshake loved the blend and was rich in taste (Sugar free)! Iced Latte perfect for those hot afternoons!

Avocado Toast was perfect, freshly sliced avocado neatly placed on sourdough toast!

Acai Smoothie Bowl was beautifully presented with thick smoothie base of Acai, Berries & Banana topped with granola, pomegranate & slices of dragon fruit.

Mushroom Slider came recommended and was totally worth it, soft beetroot buns with shitake mushrooms fired to a crunch and served along with sweet potato fries & ketchup.

Mediterranean Bowl was wholesome and filling and constituted of falafels, grilled veggies, hummus, millet with delicious Tahini sauce.

NY Cheesecake (Seasonal Mango Infused) part of summer menu, we loved the gooey NY cheesecake topped with Mango slices.

Hazelnut Praline Cheesecake was an exotic dessert topped with caramelized hazelnut, each bite was a delight.

Overall a good dining experience with cozy vibes and...
