Love and Cheesecake at Hiranandani is a charming little bakery and café that holds a special place in my heart. With its delightful ambiance, delectable treats, and friendly staff, it has become one of my favorite places to indulge in a sweet escape.
Upon entering Love and Cheesecake, I was immediately greeted by the pleasant aroma of freshly baked goods. The cozy and inviting atmosphere, with its tasteful décor and comfortable seating, made me feel right at home. Whether you're looking for a quick coffee break or a place to catch up with friends, this café offers a warm and welcoming space.
The star of the show at Love and Cheesecake is, of course, their cheesecakes. These heavenly creations are simply divine. Each slice is an indulgent masterpiece, with a velvety smooth texture and a perfect balance of sweetness. From classic New York-style to innovative flavors like Oreo and Nutella, there's a cheesecake for every palate. The presentation is impeccable, and you can tell that great care goes into every slice.
Apart from cheesecakes, Love and Cheesecake also offers a variety of other baked goods and desserts. Their pastries, cupcakes, and brownies are equally delicious and beautifully crafted.
The staff at Love and Cheesecake are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their offerings. They are always ready to assist you in making the perfect choice and provide prompt service. The menu is well-detailed, and they are happy to answer any questions or accommodate dietary restrictions.
The only reason I haven't given Love and Cheesecake a full five stars is that on occasion, the café can get quite crowded, and finding a table may be a bit challenging during peak hours. However, the quality of the food and the overall experience make up for this minor inconvenience.
In conclusion, Love and Cheesecake at Hiranandani is a delightful haven for dessert lovers. With its inviting ambiance, heavenly cheesecakes, and friendly staff, it's a place that never fails to satisfy my sweet tooth. Whether you're a cheesecake aficionado or simply looking for a cozy café to relax, this charming bakery is...
Read moreWell, the place has a picture of Tagore strung on its wall and they gave me the bill interleaved within a book by a bearded new age guru... If that is where the ridiculous levels of posing had ended, I would not have thought much of it. But this is a place that probably knows precious little about steaks (as we sadly realised) and yet offers a variety on the menu. We, naively, hoped for better... However, the horrible experience began well before that when we had to wait for over 45 mins and people who came much later still found seats. When asked, they said they were preparing a table for 6 for us. This was puzzling since we were only 4 adults and a toddler barely two years old. How that counts for 6, I never really found out. When finally we were given a table for four after several guests (even group(s) of four) who turned up later than us had already had that privilege, we ordered a hummus for our toddler and some steak. By the way, the table we were offered was for 4, not 6, and they had not even bothered to clean it up. So much for this so-called upscale place! Anyway, the hummus took so long to arrive (over 20 mins) that we had to order a cheesecake to satiate our poor little toddler's hunger. When we asked to leave since they had said it would take no more than 20 mins to deliver our order and that we had had enough of false assurances, the waiter tried to argue with me about how we had misunderstood etc... The manager, probably realizing how shoddily they had treated us (or perhaps he was just trying to ensure there wasn't a scene since I had pretty much lost my appetite and temper by then), promised to deliver within five minutes... For a change, he kept his word this time, but the chicken was dry, bland, and, in general, atrocious in all the dishes (steaks) we ordered. In a nutshell, if you are in the area, there are a million better places for dinner and I cannot blame myself enough for choosing to wait for dinner at this horrid place. Bad decisions lead to bad outcomes; lesson learnt...
Read moreAlthough it's been around for a while now, in Bandra where I live, never really considered going here. But, today quite famished after shopping we decided to do late lunch here at the Powai branch.
The ambiance is lively, lovely & fresh. Cute pastel shades, quotes & small portraits adorn the walls. The seating too is comfortable and doesn't seem cramped at all.
The service for starters was slow. Very slow. I had to ask for water 5 times from 3 different servers, before anyone gave it to us. Apart from that, our assigned server was warm, friendly and courteous.
We ordered for the cheese garlic bread, which was delightfully yummy. I especially loved their choice of multigrain toasted bread. The topping had mixed bell peppers, cheese & chilli flakes, which was very tasty. You should order this.
Next we had the hearty and soul-satisfying roasted carrot & apple soup. Loved this one too!
The veg club is a monster of a sandwich, triple layered with assorted veggies and a mash of some sort. My grandmom really enjoyed this one. They serve it with thick cut peri peri fries & a side "salad" which is just lollo rosso lettuce with a dot... yes a dot of dressing. By no means would I call that a salad. The disappointed side salad could be better.
I LOVED their fresh juice - carrot,.apple, ginger and many more healthy greens. Highly recommend this one.
The Oreo cookies & cream waffle was a 3/5. Mainly because the waffle got a little soggy under all that mountain of cream. Although it was not at all bad, overall.
We also got a small side order of the Hash Browns, which in my honest opinion is one of the best I had. Not excessively oily. Not excessively salty. It was just right, crisp & light.
Ofcourse,.if you've come to 'Love & Cheesecake' one must have cheesecake, and we did. The classic baked New York Cheesecake. Made with Plilly Cheese, baked well, yummy crumb base. It was a hit!
Overall I must say, the menu looks impressive with many dishes I would like to try. Which means I'll definitely be...
