Read moreI have been to couple of outlets of Mainland China and frankly I was never impressed by the place ever. Somehow my experience at the Powai outlet was totally different. May be I made the right choice with respect to the order.
Place & Service: The outlet is situated in the heart of Powai and pretty accessible. The decor is beyond amazing and the space is huge. The seating patter is more like a fine dine with amazing interiors which will give you the feel of Chinese restaurant. Service wise the staff was very warm and welcoming. There was waiting even on a weekday hence prior reservation will help is saving time. The service is pretty quick and the attendants are well versed with the menu and the suggestions were good too.
Food & Dessert: We had ordered the below from the menu:
Lemon coriander soup: I love the flavors in this soup. Thick soup with mix of flavors of lemon and coriander. Very refreshing. Highly recommended.
Stir Fried Teriyaki Mushroom: Mushrooms tossed in Japanese teriyaki sauce along with chillies. The sauce was on a sweet side but it tasted very well. Must try.
Exotic Vegetable in Black Pepper Sauce: This was the gravy ordered for the rice. The gravy was bit on the spicy side and had enough veggies as per the name.
Lemon Grass Fried Rice: It was meant to be on the spicy side, however, the rice was pretty bland. However, the sauce did Justice to the rice bowl.
Steamed Coconut Dumpling with Honey Butter Sauce: One of the most amazing dessert I have had in recent period. Class apart. Dumplings filled with coconut, steamed and served with honey. Highly recommended.
Overall I had a very satisfying experience and was happy with everything. Zomato gold helps is cutting down the cost of the overall bill. Must try if you are a...
