The ambience is alright(dingy overall with funky aesthetics like every other PT franchise),but it always seems to run empty -maybe 'cause nobody would like to spoil their mood eating at a place where customers are hounded time and again. Came over for lunch with a friend, the server took 15mins to tend to us and there was only one other table occupied, with 3 more servers just strolling through the whole place. We ordered fish fingers and onion rings and while taking the order the waiter outloud notified us that service charge is applicable-which we were ok with. He got us the starters, and it was alright. Fish fingers were 3/5,onion rings 4/5. We decided to wash this down with some beer which we called for,and the same waiter came to us again with the bottles and whispered to me about the service charge AGAIN!Maybe he didn't understand it before so I outloud said YEAH IM OK WITH THAT ILL BE PAYING FOR IT. We called for sizzlers and some chicken dish which was average. The chicken turned dry in 15-20mins of being brought on the table. Then we ordered for some dessert which was a chocolate brownie with icecream which obviously the can't mess up. Eventually called for the bill and again THE SAME SERVER PROCLAIMED MAAM SERVICE CHARGE IS MANDATORY and I was stunned- did he assume we wouldn't pay or was he incapable of understanding my words the previous two times where I mentioned clearly I will be paying? Their card machine wasn't working and it took some time for the UPI payment to go through and all this while the served blocked our way(we were standing at the reception facing the door) My friend and I spent an hour outside the door at their floor talking as we weren't comfortable sitting in during our meal and we noticed NOBODY SHOWED UP and it was peak lunch time. For an average meal nobody would like to be given timely reminders of paying service charge for such lack...
Read moreTerrible service, no coordination or communication between the staff. I went to Roptates for Mother's Day and since I visited this place since years knowing the reputation it had before I said let's give it a try Let's start with each disappointment Waiter had zero product knowledge Ordered from the happy hour menu for Gordon's gin, found out that the drinks are diluted. My dad and me from the hotel industry know the taste of gin. It was completely diluted with water The Assistant manager came to the table when called and too accepted that there is something wrong. It's near to impossible that a restaurant can u give u a 1+1 for Gordon's gin . A new peg was given to me. When I went to order my next peg the waiter informs me that Gin is not available ,I asked him for Vodka that's not available too, there was nearly 10 beers on the list out of which only 4 were available. Shows the class and drop in the restaurant standards post covid I had enuf of this and called the manager, the manager too when informed by his staff that he needs to visit the table ignores and moves away When we called the manager again after 15 mins that's when he comes and the only answer he gives me is " m sorry II do something about it . He had no answers to the things we put forward We also informed him take all this as a feedback not a complaint. We then ordered main course onto which the main arrives but there's no plate served for us to eat in. Cutlery not on the table as well, picked up from tables nearby where guests were seated and placed on our table . I wish I clicked a photo at that time to capture these instances. The assistant waiters who served us drinks were swift also the margarita pizza was a deal I just spent 4K of my hard earned money for something that was utter dissatisfaction and disappointment. I vouch living in orlem that I will pass on this feedback to each and every one I meet. Zero customer satisfaction. And...
