Possibly the most satisfying homely lovely tasty unlimited Gujarati Thali in a long long time.

Believe it or not the price is 190. Purohit Sir is literally serving temple folk you will feel.

They have 1 dish on weekdays. Thali. It's 190.

You get unlimited Roti with/w-o ghee, 1 dal, 1 chana saag, 1 potato sabji, 1 Shimlamirch besan sabji, 1 papad, garlic chutney to die for, mirchi diced and in some lovely prep. Superb. And Chaas.

We are so much. And had more than 1 chaas. And tons of alu sabzi. We had addl amras too. Don't remember cost but token. Total bill for 5 1175, tip 200, 1375 fantastic.

The service is homely and very friendly. A nice bihari chap Arjun.

The only possible point is aesthetics of surrounding being main road etc. I'm willing to ignore that cos have eaten so much on the streets of Mumbai.

But decided to not go in person next time, but to order on Zomato/Swiggy. They deliver. Let's see what the price there is... 😁

Brilliant place anyways but for the price...

A hidden gem of a place, without the frills and fancies that are routine with most of the high profile Gujrathi and Marwari thali places. But all that is more than made up for by the quality (and quantity) of food that is waiting to be devoured by hungry localites and casual passers by alike. A decent clean, hygienic experience, with healthy, not too spicy or oily fare is what you get in return for just 100 bucks, and that too with multiple helpings.
