Disappointment Under the Sunshine: A Nightmare Stay at Karl residency
The Good: Let's start with the only positive aspect of my stay at [Hotel Name] - the ground staff. The housekeeping and restaurant staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, doing their best to make our stay comfortable despite the numerous shortcomings. Unfortunately, their efforts couldn't salvage the overall experience.
The Bad: Now, buckle up for the rollercoaster ride that was the rest of our stay. The pictures online must have been taken decades ago, as they bore no resemblance to our weathered-out room. Worn-out furniture creaked under every move, and the sticky floors felt like someone spilled a syrup bottle and never bothered to clean it. Leaky taps added a constant soundtrack of drips to our "relaxing" vacation, and the "complimentary" toiletries were more like sad, single-use packets barely fit for a gas station bathroom.
But wait, there's more! We discovered there were no napkins in the room, not even a single one - a bizarre omission for any hotel, let alone one claiming its price point. To top it all off, the kettle, our only hope for a warm beverage, sputtered and sparked like a faulty disco ball before finally giving up the ghost.
The Ugly: The icing on this rotten cake was the unfriendly and dismissive attitude of the manager and receptionist. When we politely raised our concerns, they were met with shrugs and excuses. The exorbitant price tag for this subpar experience added insult to injury, making the whole ordeal even more frustrating.
The Verdict: If you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, avoid Karl residency like the plague. Don't be fooled by fabricated reviews or enticing photos - the reality is far from it. After the guest wishing my wife .. and after the party we went home he found out that the four gift packets which was containing gold went missing these were last four guest who had wished my wife .. we immediately called Mr Sheikh as Savio was on leave for Christmas I told Mr Sheikh to show us the footage as there was a CCTV installed in the banquet day 1 he agreed to show the Footage next day Mr Sheikh complained that the engineer was not ready to come I kept calling them Mr Rohan is a very arrogant person He also denied it .. Later they Made me Speak to Mr Karl ..He is worst then all that is why his Managers And Staff have the audacity of insulting the Clients .. Mr Karl told me that it was my responsibility to take care of my belongings I agree for what he said,then why is the CCTV installed I asked him. Mr Karl told me that the CCTV are installed but nothing was recorded as they weren't working so he was going to install a new one .. He even told me you can go to Zuhu Police Station and lodge a complaint bcose he knew that no one would help me for this ..they all seen the Footage n knew it was among the staff who stole my Packets .. it is very Transparent that even the staff Members might be knowing that the CCTV Arent working that is why it was among one of them to pick the packets Karl Residency hotel staff Members are thieves And worst of all is the Owner who has no respect for the ladies and very Arrogant towards the ladies... Read moreAvoid booking this hotel. Hotel staff is unsupportive and did not give any information at the time of check in. Twice called on the hotel number as no one was picking at reception desk. Charged very high for breakfast menu and when asked now they are saying that buffet was open. They are lying as buffet closed board is visible at the food seating area entrance next to elevator. Their own waiter told us that breakfast buffet is closed.Rooms were full of damp and cockroaches. We did complain.Their managers excuse is Rainy season. SMOKING IN ROOMS SO FAMILIES SHOULD AVOID IT COMPLETELY. Also I want to know from manager that if you are replying to any complain than answer all points. Ask all your staff members if they have given the information to customer what you are saying. Also in service industry you should take criticism as the STEPPINGSTONE for getting better.
