Visited a few times here for dinners & lunches now and had an amazing experience both the times.
Below are the food items we have tried here - Sweet corn soup - It was nice and sweet. Burnt garlic soup - Loved the taste. Highly recommend having it if you like garlic and soups. Lemon coriander soup - It was a nice soup. Can try. Lotus Kurkure with schezwan sauce - You love having lotus stem roots then this is a must order for you. Right amount of crispy and tasty. Waterchest nut in sambal sauce - Enjoyed this starter as well. Very well made and can order during the waterchest nut season. Special stuff kulcha - It was nice and stuffed well. It became very filling just having 1 portion of the kulcha with the vegetables. Veg. Makhmali - finely chopped mix vegetable sabzi in red gravy. Have visited the restaurant many times now and this is the one which I have loved the most and the taste has been the same always and never disappointed. Lasuni Paneer - paneer pieces in yellow lasuni gravy. Paneer veg Diwani masala - Nice mix vegetable medium chopped with paneer pieces in red gravy. Orange mojito - It was very sweet so did not like it as we were expecting it to have a tangy flavour. Ginger twist - It was flavourful and absolutely loved having it as I love ginger. Masala chaas - It was very refreshing. Highly recommended. Roti - In roties, we have tried many and would only say that you can order whichever you liked. You won’t go wrong. They have Garlic option in all the Indian breads so that is fantastic.

Read moreI am a life member at Indian Gymkhana and used to avail the Universal Membership but have now discontinued solely due to the rude, obnoxious, and unprofessional behavior of the entrance and security staff.
Our group was in the middle of a game in the card room, having just ordered our meal, when we were unceremoniously asked to leave. The reason? One of the entrance staff felt that our time was up. Upon confronting him and clarifying that there is no time limit for life members to use the card room, he blatantly admitted to being aware of the rule but said he and the security team don't follow it unless tipped generously.
This is not just unethical—it’s downright shameful. We felt insulted, harassed, and completely disrespected. It’s disheartening to see such a reputed club deteriorate to a level where staff misuses authority for personal gains and treats members with such disregard.
Indian Gymkhana seriously needs to re-evaluate its staff training and ethics. Pathetic experience. Would never recommend it to anyone who values dignity...
