Read moreVisited Nutcracker this Wednesday night for Dinner. It was a Zomato Gold Experience event, Which included an 8 course meal at the cost of 990rs. plus taxes for two.
The outlet is medium sized, They have space to accommodate around 20-25 people in the inside and around 10 people on the outdoor area. The outdoor seating area was not used for the event, But i guess it would be open for seating on normal days. The ambiance is great, Some nice artwork on walls, Music was quite good. Overall good place to be at in Non-alcoholic categories :P.
So we started our evening with "Asian Salad", Which turned out to be great for Non-Salad person too :P.
Next up was "Nutty Spaghetti", Which was the best dish of the day(Dessert exclusive :) ). The taste was awesome.
Followed them up with "Hummus & Avocado On Toast" & "Spicy Tofu Scramble Sandwich". Spicy tofu wasn't spicy enough, But both were decent enough to have.
Last item in main course was "Porcini & Portobello Risotto", Very unique in taste. Didn't like first few bites but it grew on me as i had more of it.
The best part of the day was "7 Layer Cookie", I would recommend anyone visiting this place to not leave without trying this(Unless of course if you have sugar issues). Layers contained of biscuit crumble, Almonds, Belgian Chocolate, Butterscotch. I brought the person who normally doesn't eat dessert but even he couldn't resist not eating this. Definitely must try.
Finished of with "Shot of Hot Chocolate" & "Nutella Macchiato". Liked the hot chocolate from this two.
Forgot to mention the coolers, We tried both "Mint Lemonade" & "Lemongrass Lemonade". I liked Mint Lemonade better.
Overall it was a perfect meal to have, And the prices seemed very reasonable at least for 8 course meal. Otherwise if it's the same quantity that is served on normal day order, Prices seems a bit high.
Recommendations :- Mint Lemonade, Asian Salad, Nutty Spaghetti & 7...
Read moreWe began our culinary journey at The Nutcracker with a round of coffees – the Iced Coffee stood out for its cool, bold punch, while the Cafe Mocha and Cappuccino offered a perfectly balanced blend of coffee and milk, each beautifully presented.
Next up was the Mushrooms on Toast – a warm, creamy herbed mushroom mix on crisp toast. It was rich, savory, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The Turkish Eggs followed, and they were a burst of complex flavours: garlic yogurt, poached eggs, chili oil, burnt onions, paprika, garlic paste, and soft pita bread all came together in a deeply satisfying, flavourful dish.
For the mains, we chose the Spaghetti Pangrattato with Burrata. This was a real highlight – al dente spaghetti tossed in garlic butter and herbed crumbs (pangrattato), topped with pesto and generously smeared with velvety burrata cheese. Comforting yet elevated.
We wrapped up the meal with Nutella Waffles, a sweet and indulgent end – well-baked and just the right amount of rich. The portion sizes throughout were generous but healthy, leaving us content without being overwhelmed.
The ambiance adds just as much to the experience. A cozy outdoor patio with four tables is complemented by a spacious and vibrant interior. The waiting area is airy and well-designed, providing welcome relief from Bandra’s heat. Thanks to our early visit, we didn’t have to wait, and Harrison, our host, was attentive, warm, and efficient. Bonus points for their valet service, which is a much-needed convenience in the bustling lanes of Bandra West.
All in all, The Nutcracker delivered a delightful and memorable experience – from thoughtfully crafted dishes to attentive service and a lively setting. Highly recommended for food lovers looking for...
