I recently had the pleasure of trying out the desserts from Country Of Origin, and I must say, it was quite an experience. I ordered their desserts for delivery at home, and they did not disappoint.
Salted Caramel and Chocolate Mousse (Very Good): The first dessert I tried was the Salted Caramel and Chocolate Mousse, and it was an absolute delight. The dessert featured a thick, buttery caramel sauce with a subtle hint of sea salt, perfectly sandwiched between Country Of Origin's luxurious chocolate mousse. The combination of sweet and salty flavors was on point, and the texture was incredibly smooth and creamy. It left a wonderful lingering taste on my palate, making it a standout dish.
Turkish Coffee Dark Chocolate Mousse (Very Good): The Turkish Coffee Dark Chocolate Mousse was another winner. This dessert showcased Country Of Origin's signature dark chocolate mousse infused with the earthy and robust flavor of Turkish coffee. The result was a rich and decadent treat with a bittersweet taste that was simply heavenly. I appreciated the collaboration with Mediterranea, as it added a unique twist to this dessert.
Eggless Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookie (OK): Moving on to the Eggless Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookie, I have to admit that it didn't quite live up to the high standard set by the previous desserts. While it was good, it fell into the "okay" category for me. The cookie had a nice, deep chocolate flavor, and the chunks of dark chocolate were a definite plus. However, it lacked that soft, gooey texture that makes cookies truly exceptional.
Eggless Caramelized Cashew Nuts (OK): Similarly, the Eggless Caramelized Cashew Nuts were also in the "okay" range. These nuts had a good caramelized sweetness to them, but they didn't stand out as much as the mousse desserts did. They provided a nice crunch, but I was hoping for a bit more of a caramelized punch in the flavour.
In conclusion, Country Of Origin's desserts truly shine in the mousse category. The Salted Caramel and Chocolate Mousse and the Turkish Coffee Dark Chocolate Mousse were exceptional, offering a symphony of flavors and textures that left me craving more. While the cookies and caramelized cashew nuts were decent, they didn't quite reach the same level of excellence. I would highly recommend trying out the mousse desserts if you have the chance, whether dining in at the restaurant or ordering them for delivery – they are a sweet indulgence...

Read moreGreat place for chocolate lovers. Tried one of their eggless pastry and also a chocolate brownie. Both were super chocolaty and yummy. Every time I go there I just gulp down the dessert and forget to click a picture. This time though I did. We had a Nutella baked pie kind of dessert and a chocolate caramel tart, both were extremely rich and delicious. Not overtly sweet. Also try their Apple pie which is almost always sold out. Don’t forget to try their chocolate coated browny,...
