Uncle's Corner - A Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Mumbai

Their quality has become so terrible I'm throwing away their food after I got a stomach upset. I used to order from them a lot about a year ago when they were quite nice. Then I stopped for some reason and decided to try them again yesterday. WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR HAS MADE!

1. Eggshells in their rice. 2( Egg used in their rice and noodles was tough and overcooked.
2. Completely tasteless.
3. Skimping on ingredients: They used to put baby corn and capsicum in their Thai Rice. Not anymore.
4. I GOT A STOMACH UPSET. That is the final nail in the coffin for them which has prompted me to post this review to warn others

My Order : Chicken Thai Rice (Avoid) Chicken burnt garlic noodles (Avoid) Chicken in lemon sauce (Avoid - it's nothing but bland boiled chicken thrown in some average lemon sauce) Lamb crispy (this was the only dish that was mildly good)

Actually avoid this place entirely! Wish I could rate them negatively. Honestly I wouldn't even feed...

I am an ICian staying at Gorai area second home too since last few years . Recently I took parcel of fish fry bangdas and surmai bill amt abt 850/00 and to my surprise the fish had been thoda kacchaa , not fully fried well , not crisp and has fleshy red masala slime not fried well to its full reqd . My son blamed me for getting from UC,ICC and I had been too very upset at that taken for granted approach by the kitchen team of UC,ICC. I never had such bad and cheated feeling till date . I wanted to return it or go in Evng for refrying at their kitchen and have it their table . But this is all burden on our head after trusting and paying highs . I at evng time had to personally fry 2pcs of the 4 bought in my kitchen pan . The parcel comes directly closed sealed in foil . We trust it . I had told them before and after taking parcel I coming from faroff . I request people to be not trusting too much of...

We have grown up eating from from this place literally for over a decade now either order in or a dine in. A small place not a fine dine set up with few tables frequented by family, couples and friends for the quickest meal to satisfy their hungry soul. This place is a definite hit!

A few dishes from our favorites:

Chicken fried rice, Chicken Lollipop and Pork Chilly are the top picks for us. However my favorite still being Butter Chicken and Chicken fried rice. I do agree the dishes keep fluctuating with taste and sometimes all their gravies can taste the same with slight moderation.
