I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Mad Pepperoni in CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai, on December 24, 2024, with a group of eight friends. Our experience was delightful, offering a blend of flavors and a warm ambiance.
Mocktails: We began our meal with a selection of mocktails, including Blueberry Virgin Mojito, Virgin Mojito, and Iced Tea. Each beverage was refreshing, with prices ranging from ₹100 to ₹150, offering good value for the quality.
Non-Vegetarian Pizzas: For the main course, we opted for the "Bird in the Jungle" pizza priced at ₹550. This non-vegetarian delight stood out with its rich toppings and well-balanced flavors, making it a highlight of our meal.
Vegetarian Pizzas: We also tried the Veg Supreme and Greek Goddess pizzas, each costing ₹850. While they were well-prepared, they didn't quite match the exceptional quality of the non-vegetarian options. However, they might appeal to those who prefer vegetarian choices.
Garlic Bread: Our group sampled both the Chilly Cheese Garlic Bread (₹250) and the regular Cheese Garlic Bread (₹200). The regular version was enjoyable, but the Chilly Cheese variant was overly spicy, which might not suit everyone's palate.
Service and Ambiance: The service was attentive and friendly, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance is cozy, providing a comfortable setting for gatherings. Additionally, ample parking space is available for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers, which is a significant advantage in the area.
In conclusion, The Mad Pepperoni offers a satisfying dining experience, especially for those keen on exploring non-vegetarian pizza options. With reasonable pricing and a welcoming environment, it's a spot worth visiting. Our total bill amounted to approximately ₹4,000, reflecting the quality and quantity of...
Read moreVisited the Mad Pepperoni Pizza today, i ordered the Signature Mad Pepperoni pizza. To be honest I did not like the Pizza for the following reasons. Burnt Pizza : The Pizza crust and the bottoms were overdone to the extent that it tasted charred and burnt. The Menu mentions that the pizza has 3 cheeses sounds exciting right, well cheddar is 70% to 80% and mozzarella just for namesake and parmesan were hardly felt on the pallet. Overall the pizza was bitter and was too salty due to the processed cheese.
I gave my honest feed back at the restaurant but the owner who holds a degree on authority on Neapolitan pizzas simply said I don't appreciate your feedback. Having paid 815 rupees for a regular burnt salty pizza and coke . I feel I should alert others on this. I could have had a much better pizza at any other place at this cost.
Response to your reply..... You are right Maam you have all the knowledge as you are the brand ambassador for Naples. Now that you my work let me tell you I am a certified dough master and have trained people in India and the middle East. What started as a honest feedback has now become a fued for which I don't have time ....your reply has already shown you don't like customer feedback and will continue serving them burnt and bitter just like your attitude.
Btw that was my Son and not my friend and I stopped him from eating the charred area and he ate it because we don't like throwing away food and I don't think you would have provided an exchange.
Btw: Your oven is a gas oven and nothing like a wood fired one also you are using excessive processed cheddar and garnishing them with Mozzarella and parmesan or they are not of the best quality. One can't fool people...
Read moreWell, we went there to have dinner. When we entered, we gave our order and they told us that it'll take 40 minutes for the order to get ready. We agreed and patiently waited for 40 minutes. We were sitting right next to their counter. Then a group of people who came significantly later than us, got their order before us. And then when I inquired about the status, the staff was clueless. They went inside the kitchen, and came out within a minute. The lady whispered something in the guy's ear. Then that person came to us and told us that our order is the last one. AFTER WAITING FOR 40 MINUTES!! They didn't give us how much time it'll take for the pizza to get ready, so I've to ask them again, and they said it'll take 40 minutes more, again. We didn't say anything and just left because I already had a terrible week and I didn't want to vent out my frustration on them. But the surprising part was there was no apology from the staff.
Joey's pizza in Andheri and Malad handles a bigger crowd and much higher orders than them
I didn't know how good their pizzas are, but I will definitely not come to this place again because of the poor service, and the unapologetic behaviour of the staff. I'll advise you to not visit them, and instead eat from...
