out for a movie with the family, and were planning to come back straight, however, an attraction of driving on the empty roads take me to CP. we were planning to have only a cup of tea from Mcdonalds as McD's taking the last breath in the north and east India. Mcdonalds closed and my wife's love for CCD has also vanished after few not so great experiences with them, we found burger Singh out of nowhere. on the middle lane opposite China garden and Raddison Blu hotel,
at first, we thought this is not worth it, we went inside the place is small but I think at midnight, the place is perfect for a quick burger, they server burger, and few snacks, (i can only talk about veg) as I am a vegetarian. they don't server hot drinks, in fact, they have there owned "Banta" and which they promote and sell
finally, we placed the order and have veg keema, Marathi vada pav, veg crispy burger and a nick Singh junior burger,
we got the order quickly,
veg keema does not have a patty, it just have veg minced and pasted, and that might be the reason why it is cheapest in the group
vada pav is ok but predictable, it has original sauces and vada pau insight, it is like vada pav only no amendments \ alterations to the recipe
Nicky Singh burger, it has veg patty along with vegetables, small is size and costlier than vada pav and it better in taste
crispy veg, best among the lot and costliest also, it has everything which you can imagine from a burger, it has patty, vegetables, sauces and all other things which make it the best and the tastiest.
it is good new, presentable, I think they should add hot drinks, moreover, they should work on the atmosphere inside the eatery, it is smoke, so there might be a possibility that you don't want to or like...
Read moreBurger Singh, the absolute replacement of the McDonald in today's time. They can let you remind McD burger for cheap price with standardize quality.
Though the prices of the Burger Singh look costly but when you receive the burger and when you eat them, you will surely change your review for them. The big giant burger in size with their price tag matches perfectly. The quality is something which is letting them grow day by day.
The juicy and delectable burger which take care of your burger crave are fully recommended for every one. If you are looking for burger for your Kids, they have special MENU for them. French fries for Kids again they have.
We ordered United States of Punjab Veg Burger, Malabar Chicken Burger, Nikku Singh Burger for kids, French Fries, Morracan fries, Honey Mint Ice Tea and last Banta.
The taste was Scrumptious and Lip-smacking.
Out of all Malabar Chicken was amaze and are having fulll of southy taste into it. The tikki / patty inside is soft and juicy.
French Fries - No it cannot beat McDonald even those were not good at all. The fries was thick in size and the packing was normal brown paper bag which led them soggy when it reaches to me.
Banta the absolutely jeera drink let you digest all big giant burgers and remain a toothsome taste to remain in your memories.
Mint Ice Tea is again required a bit improvement. Mint was no where but it was cold enough to have it.
Go and must try...
A small suggestion to the management if they can take it - When you are charging Rs. 60 as delivery or packing fee on online order, it should pack in such a way the food should not go soggy or become cold within 30 min of delivery time.
Rest taste and singh...
Read moreThis place has shot up quite fast. I still remember when they were only a couple of outlets old in Delhi and we used to order every other day from the South Delhi one. I have had Burger Singh literally so many times, me and my friends used to be crazy for it. The taste was just amazing.
I moved to Mumbai soon after and I loved this restaurant so much that I used to actually remember it and fret why it is not in Mumbai.
This is why I was so disappointed when I finally visited an outlet after a couple of years. I moved back to Delhi now and finally had the chance to visit the CP outlet. The taste was.. disappointing. It was just another burger. I had the Chhotu Singh (and that was the recommended one from the manager). It wasn't like those finger-licious, scrumptious burgers we used to order 2 years back. It was just .. a burger like hundreds of others that you get in random shops in CP.
The service and all was fine. Corona sanitisation present. You place the order, sit upstairs where it gets served, eat and leave. Much like any other fast food chain.
But it's so disappointing that they were not able to retain the same richness of taste when they scaled up. This is why scaling up of businesses is such a challenge - maintain the same taste, culture, personalised attention are all aspects which need to be kept in mind.
Maybe I will give it one more try for old times sake. But for now, RIP my beloved old...
