We dined as a party of five with a total bill of Rs. 5,600. Our order included drinks—Mexican Love (alcoholic) and Virgin Pina Colada—and food items such as Crispy Salt and Pepper, Chicken Tikka Masala, Daal Tadka, Garlic Naan, and Jeera Rice.
The positives: The ambience was delightful, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere.
The not-so-good:
Drinks: The beverages were disappointing. The Mexican Love, described as a blend of Tequila, fruit chunks, a dash of peach, and beer, was predominantly beer with apple pieces. The Tequila and peach flavors were almost undetectable. The Virgin Pina Colada tasted like it was made from canned juice. Food: The Crispy Salt and Pepper was essentially deep-fried vegetables, primarily cauliflower. The Chicken Tikka Masala, Daal Tadka, and Garlic Naan were excessively oily, detracting from their flavors. The Jeera Rice was passable but unremarkable. Service: The service was mediocre. The waitstaff seemed distracted, engaging in side conversations with each other while taking our order, without excusing themselves. Facilities: The bathroom floor was completely wet, which was an inconvenience. Final thoughts: For a restaurant with this level of pricing, the food and service were underwhelming. Would I visit again?...
Read moreThe restaurant is in the most posh vicinity of Pandara Road which is famous for its class restaurants . The price of all the items available are commensurately high...However the service and food was one of the worst that I have ever experienced ..
We had ordered for 3 Chicken Biriyani for 5 of us as we were really hungry ..anticipating that since it is 675 +GST per plate, it would have sufficient quantity and exemplary quality to satisfy our hunger and address our crave for a good meal..
After a wait of around 25 mins , when the Biriyani's were brought to be served, we were all disappointed to see the small quantity ( which could barely be adequate for only one person) which was contained in one plate ..
The person who was serving , dipped his finger in the Raita bowl ( which was served as an accompaniment) ..On raising an alarm and insisting that we want to meet his manager, he very reluctantly called for the manager - who was no good except apologising and changing the bowl..
The biggest turn off was the taste of the Biriyani..it was tasting as it rice and chicken were prepared seperately and mixed ..it was absolutely not tasting like a Biriyani...
I will not suggest anybody to try the Biriyani here ..It's a waste of your hard...
Read moreSmall Lunch was so so overpriced. London prices - we paid for two people £50 or 5,000 rupees for awful ambience, too many disinterested and miserable staff. Dark and dingy restaurant. Husband had tandoori chicken tikka - was ok. I’m vegetarian and had paneer kadhai? ( was described as paneer with green capsicum ) was served in an oily oily gravy. Tiny amount of fresh green capsicum). Chana masala was edible but hey to drain oil. Nice garlic naan. I really disliked this place. Do not go there If you’re strict vegetarian, as the food was inedible, and not special for the price. And anywhere with Brains curry and liver curry on the menu is somewhere to be avoided. Total waste of our money and precious time. This place needs to improve dramatically in all areas to warrant these prices. It’s now 10 hours later and I’ve not eaten since, and still feel ill. I rarely write reviews but felt I had to...
