Located in Satya Niketan, crowded with a plethora of Cafes, China Bowl provides you with a unique Chinese experience. The ambience is a bit shady because of the dim lights. The food, however, compensates for the vibe. The China Bowl offers a variety of appetizers which are both scrumptious and savoury. Both veg and non-veg items are available.
I tried the following items: š Spring Roll(5/5) š Yaki Gyoza(Japanese pan fried juicy momos) (3.5/5) š Veg chilli momos (4/5) š Honey chilli potato (3/5) š Fresh Lime Soda (2/5) š Ice Tea (2/5) You can feel the difference in the quality of food from here and what the street offers. The crust, the stuffing and the chilli momos chutney is incomparable to what the road side Chinese vendors offer.
You can skip the beverages as they don't taste good. But owing to the limited choices in the beverage section, you can try Fresh lime soda or Iced tea.
Inspite of the great food, I didn't find myself spending too much here. I was billed for a total of just Rs. 800/- for all the items and it was a good surprise considering the quality, quantity and taste of food I was offered.
The staff was courteous and the service was quick.
Came to know of this place when I ordered Fried rice and Manchurian meal bowl through swiggy. It was hot and delicious.
Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would surely be returning to China Bowl whenever I crave for some...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreChina bowl is a small n simple Chinese food eatery located on ground floor itself. So no hassle of climbing up uncomfortable stairs as generally seen in other restaurants of South campus. Seating capacity is 34 (max). No kids chair, no separate parking, wheelchair accessible. Though 'jugad' road parking is available, however, if situations are unfortunate, the traffic police can e-penalize your vehicle for parking on road. Food in china bowl is simple n good. Music was sweet Chinese kind. Vibes were good. Light was scarlet dim. So they really give you the Chinese kind of ambience. We had veg jumbo meal for two. They give two separate options for soup to two people in jumbo meal, no separate options are given for appetizers n main course. We had manchow soup, fried wantons, noodles with shredded potato gravy. We just tried this particular gravy as we had already tasted their Manchurian n mix veg gravy. Every thing we ordered was very tasty n had authentic taste. However, we did not like the shredded potato gravy. I, in person, recommend their manchurian gravy. We ordered Darsaan from the menu as well, however, that was not available. Rates are pretty reasonable with respect to the portion size served. The rates on the menu are exclusive of GST. We paid 609/- for jumbo meal. We were satisfied n left with happy stomach n relaxed mind. It is a 'must...

I had ordered Veg Momos & Chilli Garlic Noodles from this place. Momos were average in taste as i didn't like the filling much & it was low in terms of spices but Noodles were quite good, loved the spices & mix of vegetables which didnt make me feel that i am having a Vegetable Salad š
All in all this seems to be a decent place to order food from at good comfortable pricing.
