Read moreWent to Dhaba at Claridges after ages and it's still the good ole vibes . Took our family friends for lunch here and had a fantastic time. Mr.Sanjay Chopra took really good care of us and also made sure that our table was held for a long time as we were running late.
Dhaba has that old world charm which is really nostalgic and the interiors look like a dhaba. We ordered quite a bit of food -
Mutton Burrah , Chicken Malai Tikka , Keema Kaleji , Balti Meat , Dal Dhaba (Dal Makhni) , Butter Chicken , Jeera rice , Butter Naans and Garlic naans.
The Mutton Burrah here was fantastic. 5 pieces come in a portion . The mutton was super soft , juicy, tender and the marinade was just super delicious. It was a really melt in your mouth and the flavours were bomb. Dal Dhaba was as good as any top tier dal makhni should be , one of the very best in my personal opinion. The Balti Meat is their signature dish and it truly is superb. 4 pieces come in one portion and is served in a Balti style dish. The Meat again was super tender , perfectly cooked and really juicy. Gravy was amazing with really rich , deep flavours which is really enjoyable. The Keema Kaleji was another banger and really well made. A good load of spice and perfectly cooked mutton organs equates to a great dish , which this was. One of the best keema Kaleji I have had in quite sometime. The butter chicken was fantastic aswell , like extremely good. Boneless pieces of chicken with a spicy , tangy and a little sweetness to the end is what this gravy had which I really enjoyed.
For desserts we had Badam Halwa , Gulab Jamun and Kulfi and all of them were really good.
Deepa served us very well and Mr.Chopra took care of us the whole time. Dhaba is truly an iconic restaurant and has amazing food and top notch service. It was really an amazing experience and the food is 5/5 aswell as the service is 5/5. Our total bill was around ₹17,500 after...
Read moreI recently visited Dhaba with my family, and I can't stop raving about our wonderful experience. The restaurant's ambiance instantly transported us to a traditional Indian dhaba, with its interior elements perfectly capturing the essence of the rustic charm. From the moment we walked in until we finished our meal, it was a truly wholesome experience.
For starters, we tried the masala buttermilk and tandoori pineapple chaat, both of which were exceptional. The pineapple was delightfully juicy, and the tandoori flavors added a fantastic twist to the dish. Moving on to the main course, the mutter paneer and yellow dal were absolutely incredible. The paneer was incredibly soft, and the dish was cooked to perfection. As for the dal, it was hands down the best I've ever had in Delhi.
We wrapped up our meal with their gulab jamun, which was a sweet ending to our delightful culinary journey. The size of the gulab jamun they serve is incredibly generous; one plate is more than enough for four people.
I wholeheartedly recommend Dhaba to anyone in search of an authentic and delectable North Indian meal. The food, ambiance, and service combined to create a memorable dining experience that I won't...
