Pop Tate's Pokhran Thane — Restaurant in undefined

Visited this restaurant with a large group of family and friends, expecting a good experience since it's a new setup — but it was quite underwhelming. The AC on one side wasn’t working, and though we shifted, the cooling was still poor. Some dishes were okay, but none stood out. What disappointed me most was the poor quality of the kids’ meal — especially the milkshake, which was watery and had to be replaced twice.

Service was slow, though the waiter tried to accommodate friends with special needs, which we appreciated. However, they added a service charge to the bill without informing us — and when asked, said they’d remove it if we insisted. This felt unfair, especially since we were already tipping.

Our bill was in five digits, and they offered a complimentary dessert — but we later found it hadn't been stored properly due to a power issue in part of the restaurant. All in all, not an experience...

A new outlet of Pop Tate's opened on Pokharan Road #2 about 3-4 months back. Huge spread out place with large number of seating available. Decor is like any other Pop Tate's outlet, with aheavy dose of red. Food is good and service is courteous. We had ordered the starter of Onion Potato Tikki for the veg members which was so so. However the other starters like Cheese Chilli Toast & Chicken Africano were good. The veg opted for Oriental Veggie Sizzler for the main course while we had ordered for Chicken Tikka Biryani. the biryani was nice with lots of chicken pieces which were tender and nicely cooked with safron flavour and other spices. The main point for sizzler Best testing orintal chicken sizzler ,Roast lamba goulash, Roast lamba pepper mint and whole grilled pomfret. Overall a nice experience. Manager.
