They are a small eatery known for their parathas. They have limited seating with less than fifty covers over two floors.
The ground floor has only four tables whereas the mezzanine has eight tables. All tables can seat four patrons.
The mezzanine is just about six foot high and so one has to be careful at this floor to avoid hitting the roof.
The menu is oriented towards parathas with three variants: regular ones, ones with exotic ingredients and lastly ones that are sweet
The parathas are seven inches wide and thus a light meal by themselves. For take away they wrap the parathas in crepe paper and provide a pizza-like box.
We had ordered an aloo paratha and one with cheese, corn, olives and jalapeno.
Parathas are served with dahi, sweet and spicy chutneys, green and red pickles and also tomato sauce.
The parathas are tasty and served with butter.
The restaurant also serves inexpensive meals. The meals can be had with plain parathas. The restaurant serves meal dishes as part of the menu.
The prices are reasonable. The staff are polite and helpful. When I went for a meal they were serving dhokla as a complimentary starter.
This small eatery which also takes up catering is worth a try. It is among few places at Thane serving an extensive range...
Read moreWe regularly come here to eat and the paratha's are good, but I noticed that whenever we took takeaways they would not give us butter packets and raita. Once when we asked at the counter we were told that butter packets are in short supply. Eating at the restaurant everytime they served butter without any problem...but during takeaways or online order they would not give butter and raita. When I confronted the staff today they said as a rule they do not give it for takeaways. This is ridiculous when you are taking the same amount from me I should be given everything that is served along with the paratha's. The staff said for you we will make an exception. I said I don't want any favours just give me what I am paying for otherwise I don't want. I cancelled my order because these people are not ethical in their behaviour towards customer.
If you are taking takeaways or ordering online please insist on being served all the accompaniment. Do not allow such people to get away doing whatever...

I ordered plain parathas from them on Zomato. Delivery was in time, but seems they have the philosophy of offering "healthy food" — they forgot to add SALT to the plain parathas, making them mostly tasteless. Alright, the reference to healthy food was sarcastic. I do not feel the plain paratha was worth Rs 30 apiece.
Thank goodness, I didn't order the Aloo Paratha, priced at Rs 125. What if they were to forget adding salt to a Rs 125 item!
Guys, when you deliver on Zomato or Swiggy, be aware that people will voice their opinions, both positive and negative. So you should be doubly careful of how the items taste. As it is, we pay higher rates on Zomato and Swiggy, plus a delivery fee, so the item being sub-standard doubly hurts consumers.
I have written positive reviews too, but this time, can't help but write a negative...
