I recently had the pleasure of dining at 24K Kraft Brewery, located in the heart of Balewadi High Street, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warmth and a pleasant ambiance that set the tone for a memorable evening.
Speaking of ambiance, 24K Kraft Brewery has nailed it perfectly. The interior decor exudes a contemporary yet cozy atmosphere, with a clever mix of industrial and rustic elements. The lighting is just right, creating an inviting and intimate setting for diners to relax and enjoy their meal. The spacious layout ensures that even during peak hours, you can comfortably savor your food without feeling crowded. Whether you're visiting for a romantic dinner or catching up with friends, the ambience at 24K Kraft Brewery is simply perfect.
What truly made my visit stand out, however, was the exceptional service provided by Captain Mudassir. From the moment we were seated until the time we left, Captain Mudassir went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. His attention to detail, extensive knowledge of the menu, and warm demeanor made us feel like VIPs throughout the evening. He took the time to explain each dish, recommended pairings from their impressive selection of craft beers, and ensured that our needs were met with precision. Captain Mudassir's professionalism and genuine passion for his work truly elevated our dining experience to...
Read moreThe Dunkelweissen beer here is yummy!!! We also tried the Balewadi High St and Belgian Wit but the first beer wins hands down. (Unfortunately they didn't have their offer on a litre of beer and we had to order separate mugs). Their Chicken BBQ pizza, Mushroom Pizza, Canelloni (pasta) were all also very well made. We sat at the terrace where the music was good for a Wednesday evening, soft and allowed for conversations to happen too. They did have a spot for live music but it was probably for another day of the week(?). The service was also good but could have been a little more prompt - we had to look for someone to call at times even though they were very well staffed! Where I think the place can improve on is the lighting at the tables (we had to use phone torches to read the menu!), a little more of the subtle lighting that is already around would do it up nicely. The other point to improve on is the path leading to the actual bar. When on the road, there is a small board that asks you to make a turn into an office-like building. We asked the security guard to confirm it was the right place. Once inside again there were no directions to help us find the place easily. The crowd (on Wednesday) was a little weird also, there were more families than people who wanted to hang out. Overall, I would recommend the place for its food and drinks. It looks and feels decent and is not over-priced compared to other options on the...
Read moreStunning view - but sadly, that’s where the positives end.
The rooftop ambiance is the only real reason to visit. The place offers ample parking, clean washrooms, and their craft beers are decent.
But beyond that, the experience was disappointing.
The buffet is overpriced (₹1399+ taxes + 10%service charge) and falls far short in quality and value. To make matters worse, I actually fell sick after the lunch, raising serious concerns about food hygiene.
Their à la carte pricing seems intentionally inflated, subtly pushing diners toward the buffet - a pricing trap, frankly. Making matters more inconvenient, their food menu isn't available on Zomato or any public platform, so you're forced to decide only after being seated, a practice that feels deliberately opaque.
Another issue: although it’s a rooftop venue, alcohol was initially denied for outdoor seating. But later, we noticed other tables being served alcohol outside. Upon questioning, the staff relocated us mid-meal, without a proper explanation.
Lastly, the buffet bill was non-itemized, which is unusual and unacceptable at this price point. I may update this review with a photo of the bill.
In summary: Come for the view, but be prepared for an underwhelming, overpriced experience that lacks...
